Haley berbert opens up about her return to Stage following her health emergency the professional dancer takes to Instagram May 23rd to share a heartfelt message with fans to Mark The End Of Her Dance Tour Symphony of dance with husband Derek Huff in the post she reflects on the massive achievement she has overcome during her wild Health Journey which included multiple surgeries and a traumatic brain injury writing in the post the Symphony of Dance Tour has only been over for a few days and I still haven't quite found the words to express my emotions this tour was truly one of the most fulfilling experiences in my life when we kicked it off in September I was on cloud n getting to travel and perform with my newly wed husband doing the most challenging show I have ever done in my entire life then December 6th rolled around and everything came to a screeching halt she continues when there were talks of resuming the tour a few months later there was so much uncertainty around it for me but I did it this tour reignited many parts of me that have been dim for so long so for that I cannot thank everyone who came out to support us on this wild Journey enough she concluded I am so grateful to still be here with you all doing what I love thank you thank you thank you back in December 2023 following a show on her and dereck's Symphony of Dance Tour the 29-year-old was hospitalized and ultimately diagnosed with a cranial hematoma caused by a burst blood vessel since then she paused her professional dance career as she recovered from multiple surgeries she continued to take her health battle in stride but returned to dance in March Derek captained the moment on Instagram with a black and white pick writing stepping onto this blank canvas together beginning to paint again Haley has been candid over the past few months about her health struggles sharing an emotional video to Instagram with husband Derek to show off her new buzzed hair and thank fans for the love and support through her difficult journey I mean to this day I still have really good days and I have really really bad days emotionally and physically sometimes um but I'm doing so much better every single day like truly there is so much progress every day and I'm so grateful for that there was a moment in the hospital when I had just woken up from my first surgery and Derek sat at the bottom of my bed and was like babe there's so many people thinking about you there's so many people sending love to you and I remember just looking at him and just saying you didn't even have to tell me that I can feel it like I genuinely I genuinely felt that through my body I felt it in my heart I felt it in my soul so thank you all so much for all of your messages your love your energy your light your prayers thank you guys for all of it cuz it means so much to me and to to us as a family and genuinely I believe that it's what's got me through this a little bit faster and it's what helped me heal it's what helped me stay positive throughout the entire experience [Music]
