Shane Beamer recruiting troubles brings more heat from the South Carolina fans

what's up everybody how we doing today another video from rooster um wanted to talk a little bit about recru uh recruiting and some pressure that may be falling on Shane Beamer as it looks like a lot of the top guys we've offered or had committed have either flipped or chose other football teams now it does have the South Carolina fan base are a little upset right now and we'll get into that but uh before we get too much into it I want to say please like subscribe hit that uh uh notification Bell so you know when I drop a video but I want to say appreciate everyone did help support the channel we're growing slowly uh little over 70 something subscribers away from hitting 1,000 and I appreciate everyone that has subscribed I want to talk about recruiting in general and involvement in recruiting uh there was an issue with Jaylen Gil Crest uh I guess he he he chose Maryland uh South Carolina fans was upset because some of the so-called recruiting experts uh had him crystal ball to South Carolina and he ended up choosing Maryland now I know his commitment was delayed by an hour I don't know we've heard this before it's a last minute negotiation who comes up with the money that's where the kids end up going if that was the fact and this kid was down to the last hour of his commitment and waiting on someone the best offer um I hope that's not really what recruiting has turned into uh that it's the highest bitter thing it's a auction that wouldn't I know it's getting that way but anyway that's my feelings on it but to to go back to a couple things his mother posted some stuff on social media said there was some uh fans of South Carolina that made some negative comments and said some things on social media about her son now I legit didn't see anything yesterday where a Gamecock fan may have said nothing I know an instant I saw some guy in her a week or so ago that was a Gamecock fan going at it Miss Gilcrest I don't know you I don't know you at all and I know you're a mother of a a 16y old son um but you're a lot on social media especially on X's where I see you I don't do much Instagram stuff so I couldn't tell there but anytime you get engagement on social media you're going to get positive and negative I'm telling you that now as a as a YouTuber and a South Carolina fan anytime engaged with anyone or even putting out videos you're going to get negative comments if you let that affect you then get off social media because the first you don't even truly know if it was a South Carolina fan that went after your son because of all the fake accounts that are on social media anymore did you look at the profile did you make sure it was actually a South Carolina fan and not just a fan of another team trolling in the negative coms comments and then like I said if you can't take negative comments then don't be on social media now to South Carolina fans if you are doing that stop you want to hurt the kid part of what nil is is their social media following once the kid decides he doesn't want South Carolina whether that's recruiting whether he wants to transfer whether he flips to another team they have on every social media there's a button called unfollow just unfollow don't go attack someone don't attack a kid he's a 16y old kid trying to make a decision there's other people around him that's trying to help him make his decision and honestly look South Carolina fans we know this about Mamas and getting involved on social media and AR the Jem Bell situation with his mama and everything that went on back and forth between South Carolina fans um if if I like I said I don't know Miss gilr but if she's one of those that through his career if he chose South Carolina that's going to be constantly on social media talking about he needs more playing time he needs this this that and the other and not I'm not saying she's that way I I personally don't want her around my football team because kids need to earn playing time you're not given playing time you earn play time and maybe that's why he made the decision to go to Maryland South Carolina's done really well on the offensive line recruiting the pass couple years there's some depth there and these guys are young they're going to have a few years maybe he wanted instant playing time maybe Marilyn offered him instant play time I don't know maybe they offered him money maybe they gave him the world but if the guy is not going to be what you think is a instant impact player you shouldn't be paying him a bunch of money if that's what they're looking for then let them go be somewhere else I don't think I think this kid is a good great recruit and I think with development it'll be a probably an NFL player but is he going to be an impact to your football team today or tomorrow or the moment that he walks in on that campus you can look around all recruiting services and you're probably going not a lot of these cats out with outside of that top 50 maybe are instant impact players and you there's probably some that are not even in the top 300 or 250 or whatever that can make more of an impact on your football team because they're willing to do things like special teams and you know that type of stuff but past all that that's just a bunch of drama hit the unfollow button um if the kid doesn't choose you first thing I do I'll follow the kids I support them you know what soon as the kid makes announce when he's going somewhere else he flips or transfers I hit unfollow man you want to see what why what team was supporting your child let all the South Carolina fans hit unfollow on Instagram uh and x and all of a sudden you turn around and you're 20,000 less people following you because Maryland's not going to support you like South Carolina fan base did that's how you want to affect people but anyway I want to talk a little bit okay fan pressure on Beamer about this recruiting class and I kind of understand that right you want you have to get some wins on the recruiting Trail you use momentum uh to help you out and that's just not happening right now and South Carolina fans are frustrated especially coming off of a five- seven football season Shane Beamer's going to have to put good product on the field you're going to have to win games you're not expected to win because your schedule is what it is right it's tough a lot of your road games are tough you got opportunities to beat some good teams at home you have to take advantage of those opportunities but yeah there going to be more and more pressure but guess what national Signing Day or the first signing day is not till December there'll be more recruits that come into football games uh during the season that see the atmosphere uh there's still chance that some guys flip I mean to me the the the Malik Clark was a harder hit for South Carolina because it was an instate kid out of Rock Hill and normally those guys stick with the program but you know what he made a decision he wanted to go to Florida State people still say that's not over he could flip back to South Carolina I don't know we wasn't our first choice do we want to be our second choice I mean that's like you know you and your buddy going to a bar and this girl starts hitting on your buddy he don't want nothing to do with her and then she comes over starts talking to you never worked for me boys never worked for me but anyway I'm married I don't have to worry about that anymore but yes there is pressure on Shane Beamer and I do think he needs to hit some wins and this team needs to be really productive all the hype around it all the this is the coach speak this is everybody telling us what this football team should be this year offensive line should be back together uh they're healed up how they're going to perform this should be improved right they had nowhere to go but up the defense you brought in some Talent you brought in some experience you you're faster you see all these pictures coming out from these kids where they've been working out and they're all muscled up and they're getting jacked they're improving their bodies but we have to improve on the feel that's where it has to be seen so what does it look like for Shane Beamer for a successful year what keeps him really out of the hot water going into next year uh productivity on the field wins winds will solve a lot of the questions on the recruiting Trail and it'll get your fan base back supporting you cuz I I do think right now the fan base is kind of what I get through my videos and when I get through social media man there's there's as much negativity as there is positivity around this fan base the more recruiting hits you take like that not getting guys um and I think sometimes it's a pride thing we have to be careful with South Carolina fans let's not get out of here and be mad just because other teams are doing better than us on the transfer Port if you want to be mad because we lost a really good kid that we think was going to impact our program be mad about that but don't be mad because Tennessee went out and got a five-star quarterback and South Carolina didn't get a four-star offensive lineman this is that this isn't on the field competition where it's kind of like that because hey man if people are willing they're going to go where they want to go Josh hypo showed he's got good offenses there we haven't had the ability to really do that I don't know what D Logan's offense is going to be or look like but it's got to look like a place where a four High fourar Five Star Quarterback wants to play but we'll see we'll we'll see what it looked like this year that's what I said it's got to be done on the field but listen to me fans instead of attacking a kid or his mom or making comments or doing anything like that just hit the unfollow button soon as the kid sees that his social media just dropped 20 to 50,000 in
