early this morning work began filling sandbags in Iberville Parish we're working on our eight on our 12th truck load right now on our dump truck as we're we're sending sandbags to over 15 locations around Iberville Parish crews are out and about prepping barricades for areas that flood la1 right here in Blackman uh by MSA and Asner facility that is always a a a flood plone area right here uh in Black in West Baton Rouge uh our drainage department is actually riding all of our major canals and so forth makeing sure they clear of any obstructions that may be in front of covers and so forth poink officials ask people to stay off the roads during the storm and get that hurricane kit prepared make sure they have water um make sure they have food uh the possibility of electricity and power going out uh is likely um so if they'll get those little hurricane preparation kits put together don't delay prep today when do you think it's the latest people can have their hurricane kits by tomorrow tomorrow morning or night tomorrow afternoon abille says they're continuing to fill sandbags into tomorrow and ask residents to bring their ID when getting these sandbags in The Newsroom Sarah greay bar WBZ News 2
