Elon Musk just announced that he has finally bought cocacola yes the tech billionaire has now entered the beverage industry this news has made headlines and shocked people all over the world why is Elon Musk buying Coca-Cola is he actually going to bring back cocaine and soft drinks how is the public reacting to this join me today in this video where we will explore how and why Elon Musk bought the biggest beverage industry in the world the first question that arises is that did musk buy Coca-Cola after recently acquiring Twitter he had a big dent in his wallet well in reality the situation is quite the opposite buying Twitter is a sort of investment it just basically adds up to his net worth but in contrast when we buy a product for let's say $10,000 we will be $10,000 less Rich because what we use our money on is called a consumer good which is completely different from an investment since the products we buy are often used and consumed like foods and utilities they lose their value while on the other hand through Investments like that of Twitter Elon Musk now owns the company Twitter will not lose its value instead he will be receiving profits from the micr blogging company too so even after buying Twitter for a whopping $44 billion the tech Guru can still buy Coca-Cola according to the Bloomberg billionaire index Elon Musk currently stands as the second richest person in the entire world he enjoys a net worth of $129 billion to fulfill his dream like going to Mars he needs High Returns on investments which is why Coca-Cola seemed like the best investment opportunity founded in 1892 in Atlanta Coca-Cola is the most valued Beverage Company in the entire world Coca-Cola is an American firm known for its soft drink production and marketing its products are used and consumed in the United States of America and all over the world nearly about 2,800 products are available ailable in more than 200 countries Coca-Cola also aims that almost 1.9 billion servings of coke are consumed by people in around 200 countries in the world every single day that is a huge number Coca-Cola is also considered one of the largest companies in the United States of America Coca-Cola's main ingredients are said to be cocoa leaves and cola nuts but its original syrup formation is still an unrevealed secret this makes the recipe quite valuable in 2013 a man claimed that he had found the secret recipe for cocacola he then set it up for sale on eBay for a whopping $15 million Coca-Cola focuses a lot on its marketing campaigns to remain in people's Vision the beverag is consumed in almost every part of the world there has been a debate on sugar consumption recently that is excessive intake is bad for health and Coca-Cola has a lot of sugar so to tackle this Coca-Cola has introduced various versions of the legendary Coke like Coke Zero and Diet Coke many famous personalities around the world love Coke but recently one incident showed otherwise the world famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo turned down the offer to drink Coke in a press conference instead he promoted a healthy lifestyle and recommended water by the end of the conference the stock price of Coca-Cola went down by four billion dollar although there were other reasons involved in the fall as well even after such incidents drinking Coke has been incorporated into people's daily routine former president Donald Trump's love for Diet Coke is famous around the world the former president claims that he consumes Diet Coke with every meal he takes and along with snacks too this totals up to 12 cans of Diet Coke in Donald Trump's daily diet the countries which do not manufacture Coca-Cola have to impart Coca-Cola from their neighboring countries due to constant demand this is why Coca-Cola is termed the most valuable beverage in the world and the company's worth is $268.5 billion but how did Elon Musk buy a company worth over $250 billion while having a Fortune of $129 billion this is where his favorite Bank steps in Morgan Stanley is likely the bank which aided musk to buy Coca-Cola as it did it in the Twitter case and apart from that we need to keep the Billionaire's influence on the world in mind too one tweet from him unstabilized the crypto Market and increases or decreases the share prices of companies would this genius have some sort of difficulty in raising some $100 billion musk has a gigantic fortune and even if that is not enough he also has a huge influence and power of authority and that is enough for the tech billionaire to raise a few hundred billion dollars on his own Elon Musk is the founder and CEO of many famous companies in the world one example can be SpaceX it is the world's biggest spacecraft manufacturer and Satellite Communication company in the world he made headlines in the news back when a rocket was launched by SpaceX the launch was successful to send the first commercial plane into space however the tech genius got his place on the board of Legends when he along with SpaceX launched the Falcon 9 rocket into space in May 2012 and since then the tech mugul has been a Hot Topic in the news making headlines and achieving things that all of us have always thought to be impossible Elon Musk has has been a tech Enthusiast since his childhood he even created a game at just the age of 12 years old called Blaster the objective of the game was to use the five ships you had within your control to destroy as many alien Fighters as possible musk sold this game to PC and office technology magazine for approximately $500 I don't know about you but designing a game and selling it for $500 at just 12 years old sounds like a genius in the making to me the tech Guru also founded Tesla through his profits from his previously owned company PayPal which he sold for $1.5 billion in 2002 and since he owned most of the shares of the company 11.72% to be precise he received an amount of Just Around $176 million Tesla is now the biggest electric automobile Manufacturing Company in the entire world musk's inventions through Tesla has shocked the world numerous times and shown them a Peak at the future he plans to bring to the entire world world but his Rich history does not stop there he is famous for his online rivalries and for acquiring whatever companies he wants and feels like in 2022 musk made headlines once again when he showed his interest to buy Twitter the famous micro blogging site was under the tech Mogul radar he sent a proposal of buying all the company shares for the price of $43 billion but this offer was refused by the board of directors of Twitter along with the board the Saudi Prince tal also refused the offer since he owned 5.2% shares in the company and acted as the chairman but we all know that Elon Musk does not take no for an answer he then sent his last proposal to Twitter's headquarters where he increased his offering from $43 billion to $46 billion the strike caught everyone's attention as they were now considering moving forward with this deal and after some negotiations from both parties musk was successful in buying Twitter for $44 billion so the question arises that after such a big purchase of Twitter how is the tech billionaire able to afford to buy Coca-Cola Elon Musk who is also a self-proclaimed meme Lord posted a tweet on Twitter saying this next I am buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in this tweet caused havoc in the public as everyone was excited to know what the tech Guru had planned the Tweet went viral gaining the attention of print and digital media making headlines everywhere the Tweet exploded on Twitter by gaining more than 4.5 million likes along with more than half a million retweets the public responded with their versions of suggestions on the viral tweet some even suggested Elon Musk by Facebook and delete it from the internet and make it clean while some suggested him to go for Amazon YouTube and many other social media sites the sole reason is just that he could the public believed that Elon Musk can buy anything he likes and do anything he wants so more suggestions started pouring in an unknown Twitter user even recommended him to even buy the United States of America and fix the whole country well that is a dream to look upon and who knows with the record of buying such humongous companies the tech billionaire could also buy a country however the guy knows his limitations as a human being he knows that he can't do Miracles similarly he also tweeted a photo that was photoshopped with the caption now I'm going to buy McDonald's and I will fix all the ice cream to which musk replied listen I can't do Miracles okay okay in just a few hours the Tweet had been liked by over 2 million Twitter users and retweeted by over 250,000 users well musk surely knows that with all this Fortune there are still some things that can't be controlled like McDonald's ice cream machines his followers do include both supporters and haters but are mostly supporters occasionally become outraged by his tweets you could be surprised how someone might say that you may get a sense of the impact his tweets create by by simply viewing his Twitter timeline Elon Musk claims that he has less to do with the profits and more to do with working for Humanity as a self-proclaimed free speech absolutist he might make changes in the Coca-Cola recipe to have a better impact on its consumers as I mentioned earlier Coca-Cola has many competitors in the world in recent Times health and well-being is being talked about a lot therefore the natural juices and smoothies prepared from fruits are Coca-Cola's biggest Rivals most nutritionists have linked several of the main lifestyle illnesses to the high levels of sugar that are in soft drinks there is a lot of sensationalism going on throughout the world that refrains people from consuming sugar when one limits or completely avoids soft drinks from their diet they can manage some lifestyle diseases including cancer and diabetes more efficiently Elon Musk and his team needs to design a brilliant strategy to increase Coca-Cola's marketability in this regard but you can place your trust in the guy to do that because we all know about his extensive experience from his time at his own companies Tesla and SpaceX Tesla Motors is the only automobile manufacturing company with a market valuation of over $1 trillion today making it the most successful manufacturer in the whole world moreover as a result of all the advances it has achieved in rocket and space technology SpaceX is also another notable achievement the company is even receiving contracts from NASA and the Pentagon due to its prestigious status as a commercial space firm Elon Musk himself has achieved a lot which is also recognized by the entire world he has beaten Jeff Bezos in the war of becoming the richest person on the planet in 2022 and now stands as the second richest person while the first being Bernard Arno with a net worth of $178 billion acquiring cocacola is going to be a brand new industry for the techsavvy Elon Musk the reason is that he's famous and known for his contributions related to Tech technology many people also have several conspiracy theories against the tech Mogul they believe that he plans to control the world population and for that he has targeted the beverage industry so through Coca-Cola he might plan on world domination they say that musk is secretly working on a microchip that can monitor and control several actions of human beings the tech Guru has been working on this chip for ages and plans to control human beings all around the world it's important to keep in mind Coca-Cola's huge consumption daily all around the world it will be perfect for the billionaire to carry out his plan successfully and install these micr neurochips in human beings through this widely consumed beverage can you imagine that microchips inside Coca-Cola this conspiracy does not sound like it can be possible and with so many conspiracy theories out there revolving around Elon Musk anything could be true this brings us to the end of today's video but there are still a lot of questions unanswered did Elon Musk buy Coca-Cola for the help of humanity like Twitter once a country industrializes once a country urbanizes the population immediately starts to decline I'm an environmentalist who does things of talk of action not talk I act in a profound Revelation musk highlights the fundamental necessity of having children for the continuity of generations I really want to emphasize that it's important to have children and to create the new generation and as simple as it sounds if people do not have children there is no new generation I'm very much in favor of humanity expanding and creating a bright and exciting future for the world and but fundamental to the furtherance of human civilization is having humans as simple and basic as that sounds and every year I look at the the birth rates and I'm like it's it's a a bit depressing because birth rates seem to decline every year and I I think that perhaps my biggest advice to leaders to government leaders and to to the people in general would be to make sure to have children to create the new generation and I think any incentives that can be done to incent a new generation to make it easier for woman to have children and to support the children I think would be very wise musk paints a start picture of the future with the population dwindling to a mere fraction of its current size in three generations this is so fundamental and I really can't emphasize that enough if you don't have a new generation there is no new generation or with current birth rates I think it maybe the generations are birth rate is maybe half of the replacement rate and what that means is in three generations the population will be one roughly one/ tenth of its current size in three generations maybe four generations the preservation of cultural identity emerges as a critical factor in maintaining the essence of Nations a sentiment musk passionately Advocates well I think one can't depend on other countries for immigration and in fact if you look at say the population worldwide and this is almost everywhere in the world and it seems to be a function of how once a country industrializes once a country urbanizes the population immediately starts to decline so one could say for example like like China could not possibly solve its population with immigration because if China's currently tracking to be maybe lose 40% of his population every generation that would be 700 million 800 million people or 700 roughly 7 6700 million people it's a lot basically you'd have to have the entire United States immigrate there twice every generation to Simply maintain numbers just for China so immigration the there simply Aren't Enough numbers in Immigration and I think there is Val to a culture we don't want cultures we don't want Japan to disappear we don't want Italy as a culture to disappear we don't want France as a culture to disappear I think we have to have the maintain the sort of reasonable cultural identity of the various countries well they simply will not be those countries it Italy is the people of Italy the buildings are there but really what is Italy Italy is the people of Italy and I I speak as someone who is very much very much an environmentalist I believe in having building a sustainable future for the world I think there are very few people who as an individual who have done more than I have for to help the environment with electric cars and solar and batteries to create a sustainable energy future because we absolutely need a sustainable energy future but there is an aspect of the environmental movement that I think has gone too far addressing the climate crisis musk emphasizes the massive transfer of carbon from the Earth to the atmosphere and oceans urging reconsideration so said for me I think I am objectively one of the world's leading environmentalists in terms of doing things I not say so like I'm an environmentalist who does things I'm of talk of action not talk I act so so I feel I can say as as an environmentalist that the environmentalist movement has gone too far and in that if you in the natural extension of the environmentalist movement if you go too far you sought to look at Humanity as a bad thing you start to look at Humanity as though we are a plague on the surface of the Earth as though humanity is a bad thing and in fact there are some people who think and and say explicitly that in fact there was on the front page of the New York Times there was a guy who said There are 8 billion people on Earth it would be better if there were none which is crazy musk points a critical finger at environmentalism suggesting it plays a role in fostering a sense of hopelessness about the future objectively this is true so so the if you say like there's really only one thing that matters from an environmental standpoint of for carbon which is that we are taking uh billions eventually trillions of tons of carbon from Buri deep with it under the Earth and putting transferring it to the atmosphere and oceans that's the that's actually really all that matters is taking vast amounts of carbon from underground where it's buried and moving it into the atmosphere by burning it and if you do that for long enough eventually you will get climate change now I think the climate change alarm is somewhat overblown in the short term it's still concern in the long term but I think it's exaggerated in the short term great now I have to trying to thread the the needle here between what like what is pragmatic and what is sensible what really matters and what doesn't matter what really matters is that over the long term over the course of the next several decades that we gradually reduce how many millions and billions of tons of carbon that we remve from underground and to the atmosphere because we're running sort of a climate experiment that is dangerous but I also don't think that I think of it as a fundamental civilizational risk it it is it's not going to destroy life on Earth it's not going to destroy Humanity but it will create hardship if you change the climate o over many decades so it's I think my my my message is like I think much more pragmatic and I think correct and sensible and I and I don't think we should demonize oil and gas I think we should say look that is obviously necessary in the short term and the medium-term too and it'll take several decades to become sustainable so I think if we're just without getting to worried about it seek to have a sustainable energy future gradually then that's what will happen and so but I think that some of the environmentalist movement has is part of what is causing people to lose hope in the future so I guess what I'm trying to say is that we should have hope in the future we should be excited about the future and we should build the future we want amid the pandemic musk critiques the prevailing narrative framing it as condemning rather than celebrating human resilience this is not something you should import from America please don't import the work mind virus is bad so the I mean essentially that to summarize maybe the work mind virus it consists of creating very divisive identity politics so it actually amplifies work virus mind virus in my view amplifies racism amplifies frankly sexism and all the isms and while claiming to do the opposite it it actually divides people and makes them sort of hate each other and it makes people hate themselves and it's also anti- meritocratic it's not like it's not Merit based so you want to have people succeed based on how hard they work and the talents not who they are whether they're man woman what race or gender what that stuff is all creating it's an artificial mental civil that is created and it's not and let me it's no fun okay it is like woke mind virus and fun are incompatible there's no fun in that no joy w virus is all about condemning people instead of celebrating people like when in the world it just doesn't celebrate it's all about condemning and being divisive and and being just I think it's just evil frankly I'm very pro-human I'm very Pro civilization I'm in favor of humanity and our Collective Consciousness expanding on Earth and going beyond Earth being a multiplan species a space bearing civilization and being out there among the stars and finding out the the nature of the universe like all the things that it's that seems like to me an you know exciting thing something you can get really excited about is you're going to get excited like we want to have ideas that make you look forward to waking up in the morning look forward to the day look forward to the future and so you have to say what excites you about the future what moves your heart about the future what makes you say like yes I'm glad about what will happen in the future that's what we must focus on and that's why we have to have a new generation we've got to build and we got to grow and like I said we understand this understand the nature of this beautiful universe that we find ourselves in and the meaning of life or even what questions to ask about meaning of life let us explore this wondrous creation and have a good time doing it advocating for inclusive immigration policies must questions why valuable contributors should be excluded from a country well I I should say like to be clear on immigration overall I'm I'm very much in favor of legal immigration I think that generally I think one should welcome to a country anyone who is willing to work hard and is honest has high integrity and will add to Any Given country if somebody is an asset to the country why not have them join that's obviously a great thing to do so I think it's good actually to have an increase in legal immigration and a simple legal with paper with yeah just some approval process but with a simple requirement that look if somebody's going to add to a country like just really hardworking and high integrity let them in I think that's great but if there's if it's illegal immigration and there's no filter well how do you know who's coming and you don't know so you you have to have some basis for saying somebody should come in or not come in and my argument is like it should be a very simple basis are will they add to the country will they be a productive part of the economy and do they admire the culture do they want to join because of the culture then that's great but if there's no process for that then you don't know I think at least some number of the people that come in will will not be necessarily and I want to be careful because my words will be misconstrued I'm not saying all illegal immigrants are are I think probably perhaps most of them are good but there will be some if there's no process for reviewing not at all then how can you say that everyone who is an illegal immigrant is going to be honest and hardworking you can't say that simply don't know so so I want to be clear top line pro-immigration but let's increase legal immigration but we should stop illegal immigration I think this is just logical actually I want the prosperity of Italia and I want the prosperity of every country I want the prosperity of humanity as a whole and and like I said I want us to have an exciting future where we're we're fired up about what's going to happen and really excited so and I think Italy is a great place to invest it's a great great country and but I do want to emphasize that the I do worry that about the low birth rate and if a company is to invest in Italy they're like well you have to say like will there be enough people to work there it's simple question if the workforce is declining then if the workforce is declining then who will work at the company musk envisions an electrifying future where people are genuinely excited about what lies ahead countering prevailing pessimism well you can think of artificial intelligence as this is perhaps the the biggest inflection point in intelligence since Homo sapiens yeah artificial intelligence is will be essentially sort of a a new species or is a new species so I think one of the biggest challenges if if I look at say civilizational risk the risk to the future of humanity birth rate is one of them if we just don't have kids and dwindle away that's one which I've talked a lot about the other is there's always like potentially course that kind of thing then AI is also an existential risk and we need to be I think we need to be careful with the Advent of AI but it is very much it's very much a double-edged sword you can think of AI as kind of like the magic Genie that like digital super intelligence will be capable of doing anything pretty much anything exploring the depths of Consciousness musk delves into the enigmatic realm that defines human existence I mean there is the whole question of like what is consciousness in fact so here's like I always I thought a lot about what is consciousness and where does Consciousness arise to say like because I I think in terms of physics and at least if physics is true then we go from a start of the universe where things are almost entirely hydrogen and then if you leave the hydrogen out long enough eventually it coalesces into stars and then those stars explode and then they re recondense and so so like most of the mass in your body is was once at the center of a star which is kind of wild billions of years ago and so so where along the lines of hydrogen to human does Consciousness arise you get very serious when you speak about that yeah it's a real question if you leave hydrogen out in the sun long enough it starts talking to itself here we are hydrogen talking to itself cautioning against the unchecked pursuit of AI and Robotics musk urges careful consideration of the unintended consequences of our desires I think we need to keep a close eye on artificial intelligence I mean I'm in favor of some regulatory Insight just so that there's someone can at least be a referee like if you think of any game like there's always a referee for a game for industries that affect the good of the people there's are there regulatory agencies that oversee those Industries anything that's dangerous is overseen by some kind of referee or regulator I think we should have the same thing for AI just to help ensure that it is beneficial the good part of AI is that we are headed for a future of abundance so Ai and Robotics will mean that there are no shortage of goods and services you there there will be goods and services if you can think of it you can have it basically so this is quite profound like I said it's the magic Genie Ai Ai and Robotics will get you anything you want now usually in these sort of fairy tales about magic Genies it doesn't turn out so well you have to be careful what you wish for even if what you wish for or wishes so it's just something we should be cautious about okay on the plus side it will bring many benefits like I said it will usher in an age of abundance so that the positive scenario of AI is that there's an age of abundance and there's no shortage of goods and services that any scarcity exists will be only because we Define it to be scarce so and it does seem to be somewhat of an inevitable thing AI so is that supposedly that Chinese saying about may you live in interesting times well I think we currently live in the most interesting of times in all of history right now so anyway so my recommendation on AI I think we want some kind of regulatory oversight just to make sure that it's beneficial it's outrageous yeah no I'm not going to vote for some Pro censorship candidate the reason for the First Amendment for freedom of speech is because the people that immigrated to this country uh came from a places where there was not freedom of speech Elon Musk though not endorsing any presidential candidate emphasizes the criticality of freedom of speech well I haven't endorsed anyone for for president I mean I wanted to hear what B had to say um because I think some of his things are there some of things he says I think are pretty solid um you know he's concerned about government overreach um about government control of information the I mean the degree to which uh old Twitter was basically a sock puppet of the government was ridiculous I hope they stop you hope uh don't advertise you don't want them to advertise no what do you mean if somebody's going to try to Blackmail me with advertising blackmail me with money yourself but go yourself is that clear I hope it is hey Bob if you're in the audience the relevance of freedom of speech lies in its ability to allow dissenting voices even those you disagree with musk contends so uh and freedom of speech you have to say when is it relevant it's only relevant when when someone you don't like can say something you don't like or it it has no meaning um and and as soon as you sort of you know throw in the towel and concede to censorship it is only a matter of time before someone censors you and that is why we have the First Amendment I'm saying what what I care about is the the reality of goodness not the perception of it and what I see all over the place is people who care about looking good while doing evil okay you know there's a reason for the First Amendment um the reason for the First Amendment for freedom of speech is because the people that immigrated to this country uh came from a places where there was not freedom of speech and and they were like you know what we we we we got to make sure that that's constitutional um because where they came from if they said something they'd be put in prison or they'd be you know something bad would happen to them I did subsequently clarify in replies uh but those clarifications were ignored by the media um and essentially I handed a loaded to those who hate me um and arguably to those who are antisemitic uh to for that I'm quite sorry that that is not that was not my intention musk unequivocally deed declares he would not vote for Biden citing concerns about freedom of speech could you see yourself voting for President Biden if if it's it's a Biden Trump election for example I think I would not vote for Biden you'd vote for Trump I'm not saying I'd vote for Trump but I [Music] mean this is this is definitely a difficult Choice here you know would you would you vote for Nikki Haley Nikki Haley by the way wants all social media um names to be exposed as you know no I think that's outrageous yeah no I'm not going to vote for some Pro censorship candidate like I said I mean I think these you have to you have to you know consider that there's a lot of wisdom uh in these amendments you know I inan the Constitution um and and uh you know a lot of these a lot of things say we take for granted here in the United States that don't even exist in Canada there's not no constitutional right to freedom of speech in Canada so you know not and there's no Miranda rights in Canada people like think like you know you have the right to on you don't actually in Canada um so you know I'm half Canadian I can save you um but you know so so like you just got you you the freedom of speech is incredibly important um even when people and like like I it's it's actually especially important in fact it is only relevant when uh people you don't like can say things you don't like freedom of speech emerges as a Paramount Topic in musk's discourse on the state of politics let me ask you then that's how I feel don't advertise how do you think then about the economics of of x if if if if part of the underlying model at least today and maybe it needs to shift maybe the aners it needs to shift away from advertising um if if you believe that this is the one part of your business where you will be beholden to those who uh have this view what do you do FY I I I understand that but there's a reality too right yes no no Lind Yaro is right here and she's got to sell advertis absolutely so um no no tell so so no actually what what this advertising boycott is uh is is going to do it's [Music] company and you think that I but and the whole world will know that those advertisers company and we will documented in great detail but there are those advertisers I imagine are going to say they're going to say we company oh yeah they're going to say tell to tell to Earth but they're going to say that they're going to say Elon that you company because you said these things and that they were inappropriate things and they didn't feel comfortable on the platform right that's that's what they're going to say and let's see how Earth responds to that Elon Musk basing his observation suggests that the left tends to be more Pro censorship than the right you think right now the Republican candidates or the Democrats are more inclined I mean this is where you go to I assume to to to woke and anti-woke and the mind Virus issue that you've talked about which party do you think is is is more Pro freedom of speech given all the things you've seen because we also see you know disantis uh you know preventing people from Reading certain things maybe you maybe you think that's that's that's correct no uh look we actually are in an odd situation here where on balance uh the Democrats appear to be more Pro censorship than the Republicans and that used to be the opposite it used to be you know the left position was freedom of speech um you know uh I believe one point um the ACLU even def defended the right of someone to claim that something like that you know so like there were there really were uh like the left was freedom of speech is is is fundamental um and I mean my at least perception Perhaps it is inaccurate is that um the pro sensorship is more on the left than than the right um we certainly get more complaints from the left than the right let me put that way complaints about censorship musk notes predominantly come from the left side of the political Spectrum I mean look the the joke I used to make about old Twitter was it was like giving everyone in the pych a megaphone um so uh you know I'm I'm I'm aware that things can get promoted uh that are negative beyond the sort of Circle of of somebody simply screaming crazy things in Time Square which happens all the time um you know so so the it's it's actually it's pretty rare for something um frankly that is uh hateful to be promoted it's not it's not it's not that it never happens um but it's it's fairly rare um I mean I would encourage people to look at for those that use the system when you look at the the sort of the the feed that you receive how how often is it is it hateful and over time has it gotten more or less hateful and I would say that if you look at uh the xplatform today versus a year ago I think it is actually much better musk highlights the Innovative Community notes system on x platform for correcting falsehoods and adding context my aspiration for the xplatform is that it is the best source of Truth or the least inaccurate source of Truth um and well you know I don't know people believe me or not but I think Honesty is the best policy and I I think that the truth will win over time and the you know we've got this this great system and it's getting better called Community notes uh which is fantastic I think at correcting uh falsehood uh or or adding context in fact we we make a point of of not removing anything but only adding context now that context could could include that this is completely false and here's why um and and and no one is immune to this I'm not immune to it advertisers not immune to it in fact we've had Community notes which has caused us some loss in advertising speaking of loss in advertising Revenue um when if a community note if an if if there false iing the community note will say this is false and here is why I mean like there's one specific example that is public knowledge so I'll mention it which is at one point uh Uber had this ad uh which said earn like a boss uh and it was Community noted if by boss you mean $12.47 an hour this this did cause at least a temporary suspension of advertising from R Elon Musk envisions X as the global Town Square emphasizing the importance of preserving freedom of speech look I I'm sorry for that that that tweet or post it was foolish of me of the 30,000 it might be literally the worst and dumbest post that I've ever done um and I try my best to clarify six way this Sunday um but you know at least uh I think over time it will be obvious that in fact far from being uh anti-semitic I'm in fact philosemitic um and my all the evidence uh in my track would would support that me ask you this though there are people who say crazy things on on X as you know um maybe you think they're crazy maybe they're not it the the the the the aspiration for X is to be the global Town Square now if you were to walk down to let's say Time Square right um do you occasionally hear people saying crazy things acknowledging his own fallibility musk admits to clarifying a statement that was perceived as foolish on the platform that they didn't feel comfortable on the platform and I I wonder I just wonder and ask you and think about that for a second tell it to the judge but the but the judge is going to be the judge is the public and you think that the public is going to say that that Disney is making a mistake yes and they're going to boycott Disney they already are well there there are some that are for for for lots of different reasons but you think that this is going to that you have the this goes to actually the interesting of P of of power and leverage let the chips fall where they may let the chips fall where they may of all the posts I I've done on the platform I think there might be 30,000 or something like that right once in a while I will say something foolish and I have and I would certainly put that comment um that you said the actual truth uh among perhaps one of the most foolish if not the most foolish thing I've ever done on the platform um and I did do my best to clarify uh afterwards that uh you know I I certainly did not mean anything anti-semitic in that um the the nature of the criticism was simply that um the Jewish people have been persecuted for thousands of years there is a natural Affinity therefore uh for persecutor groups um this has led to the funding of organizations that uh essentially promote any persecuted group or any group with the perception of persecution this includes radical Islamic groups everyone here has seen the the massive demonstrations m in every major city in the west that should be jar [Music] well a number of those organizations received funding from prominent people in the Jewish Community they didn't expect that to happen it but but if you generically without condition sort of fund if you if you fund persecuted groups in general some of those persecuted groups unfortunately want your musk asserts that if a company fails due to an advertising boycott it's a consequence of that specific challenge we'll both make our cases right and we'll see what the outcome is what are the economics of that for you I mean you you have enormous resources so you can actually keep this company going for a very long time would you keep it going for a long time if there was no advertising I mean if the company fails because of an ad advertis boycott it will fail because of an advertised boycott and that will be what bankrupt the company and that's what all everybody on Earth will know what do you think then of the this goes back to the idea of trust though then be gone and'll be gone because of an advertised boycott I said I literally I literally posted I condemn anti-Semitism in all its forms like that is a literal I believe literal post that I made um I mean I'm like listen if I can get out the thesaurus if you you know and we could you know let me ask you a different question you you you compose it I'll post it
