the wide receiver position I think is the focal point here the first week of camp and even through mini camp the a lot of the helium was aimed towards Xavier Legette and him being likely the you know outside wide receiver in this offense you know they have Deontay Johnson that came in from Pittsburgh but the more and more Buzz we've gotten out of Carolina and the people we've talked to in Carolina have said that Mingo has been the guy that's been getting push targets Mingo has been the guy that's been running with the ones more consistently and Legette there's the one thing that has hindered him through college at South Carolina it's why his breakout didn't really come until his fifth year was injuries and we've already seen the injuries now pop back up on him the hamstrings I don't want to say it's going to it's guaranteed to put him behind the eightball but it feels like it's starting to put him behind the eightball as far as um you know as they lead into the season whereas Mingo already has a year under his belt and he looks like in quotes a different a completely different player from an outside running route running perspective this summer and when you hear that from people that are there every single day at the Carolina Panthers training camp you can only take that for what it is you're not hearing those same things about Xavier Legette the consistency is not the same so Legette going higher than Mingo is right now in these season long drafts and mock drafts and it might just be Mingo the guy that should be in conversation for that last round pick
