you know he gonna be trying to get paid so but before he get paid like some people some some people saying that they should pay like you know some of the other guys on the team uh you know one of the guys holding out right now so what is holding in though that mean he's showing up to all the mandatory but he's still want to get right right right some people strategically hold in by they might come up with an injury might not be too severe go enough to hold them out yeah smart too though you trying to get money anyway hold out your money up right and then you don't want to go full til and get an injury right and then what I'm saying you say so it's a double Ed sword yeah a double Ed sword so well let me ask y'all this though do y'all think that they should they should take care of Brock pie though like is he number one priority Brock Pie has to be you think so clay has to be um go go go I just think he has to be yeah the hardest position on the field that solidifies is the quarterback yeah but once once you identify somebody as that yeah you gotta you gotta lock that in some people would push back though and say that like the 49ers was good before Brock pry was there you know what I mean like with all the weapons that they um um you know Debo what's how you pronounce know I mean so and when he when when when those guys were injured and they wasn't there he was like 0 and three yep yeah and they got and they got KD and they got u chrisan mcaf y so they loaded right that's why I think they gotta do it this year when it all yeah yeah because he the only reason he hasn't signed they can't sign him yet right because by him being you know Mr Irrelevant but by him being that last pick in the draft he can't go yet that's like the CBA you know what I mean when he was drafted like he can't get renewed right I thought after your third year they can be they can extend where he was drafted at that fact is in as well does it yeah yeah yeah I thought the same thing I'm like why you don't just sign him now but they say by collective bargaining agreement they can't yeah they gota wait till at the next after SE yeah so yeah go everybody like you say everybody's gonna get paid even Trent Willams he won another um he might be the best left tackle in football and you know he um he won another deal so they not gonna be able to pay everybody no they not you know but like Clayton's point and I know what you said Mike they went to a Super Bowl with uh a man that was with New England I can't they um um Jimmy garab him so you like man you could plug in play yeah but that's that's a hard yeah but but now though if you look at the situation who's on the bench now like so when when when Jimmy got hurt the year uh Brock took over he played them nine games you had Brock on the bench right like who's backing him up who's backing him up now and when you look at those nine games and what he did this cat went to the postseason and performed yeah you know what I'm saying they won two games went to the championship and then he got hurt I know right but they're saying that Brandon iay because they drafted a receiver M so they say we ain't got to pay him we can bring this receiver we just drafted in and get similar type production so that's what they I can see that I can see that too but but when you got a quarterback putting up Brock P numbers you just and you look at the you look yeah you look at the market this cat he had like 30 something touchdowns he only threw like 11 picks and stuff you gotta give at some 4000 yard the market they just paid Jordan love just paid all them people get all that enjoy love which is a talent man they gave him a bunch of money they did they extended him great could waited with him I think so but if you wait see that's the mistake that Dallas is making if you wait price go up going up y y you gotta pay them now because in a couple years that's going to be a bargain end of the at end get it out yeah that's true and and even if you don't pay them you hold off not only do the price go up but then you cause like animosity and stuff you mess up the chemistry in the locker room so but even if they do pay this they pay Brock py that's still might disrupt the chemistry in the locker room though because everybody say well how you gonna prioritize him over us when we was you know we was already establish as a as a solid team before he got here they know the PE they know how it is that's they know how it is you got to solidify that quarterback you know most teams don't have that's why I say you gotta win with that man you know the stars are line with them man and I tell you what you ask some of them receivers you ask KD you ask some of these guys right yeah the one thing they don't want to go into a season with is an unproven quarterback so as much as they say how you take care of them they have to understand yeah you got to take care of this guy because I'm relying on my success is relying on him yeah you know he got to get me that ball yeah you know receiver that's position that's a dependent position you know yeah yeah everybody in the that you gotta well he not do to get paid see I'm shocked at that I'm shocked at that after after this season after this season yeah yeah so he not to get paid hey and I'm I'm gon say something real funny I wouldn't be surprised if he reset the market but two just got sign and he didn't reset no yeah did cuz what's his name than him no he didn't reset though no when T went he was slotted he was number one but he still was up yeah that what at 50 50 million yeah but think about that though you think that uh that's my squad right right what's her name they say um Russ nursing the calf injury not nothing too serious Justin Fields look good he look good yeah he look good you know I mean with the taking the first team snaps you know what I'm saying yeah he look good but Russell still on the sideline throwing some balls around so it ain't nothing to Ser but I think I think Russell should be concerned though he should be he should be I think it's a healthy competition and I think if if Justin beat him out you know I mean Russ gotta tip his hat to him you know I mean but I think I think coach want to start the season with Russ absolutely and then finish you know I mean and then finish yeah because Russ man Russ I like Russ I always been a big Russell Wilson fan man you know what I'm saying but I like I like Russell Wilson but the last few years though it seemed like he kind of he kind of lost a step though yeah he did well he did but last year I don't think I don't think Denver lost because of him show that Russell Wilson had a good year last year yeah yeah I believe so people want to kill him for it man I I think and that was Sean Pon overrated look at what he did in Chicago no yeah you not no Chicago was horrible man they ain't G no help and just look how they doing my man they just drafted see all the pieces they bringing them to ensure that he's successful they that for Justin F Well he had Alan Robinson though Alan Robson wide receiver he was big when he became a free agent everybody wanted him what's they they Alan I'm thinking about the what's the other one that came from Carolina that's still up other can't remember his name now that was a good pickup that was good pick up what I'm saying I mean nowhere close man to what they doing for that boy out of USC no way close man and Ain saying that Justin field still got some grown to do and still got to get better and things like that but one thing he's just GNA help him something I'mma say this I'mma say this though I'm I'm Pittsburgh going to the one thing helping Justin is the fact that they only paying Russell a mil so a lot of times when you make that quarterback switch or player switch money comes into play because I'm not gonna put 40 million on the bench right and then let this kid come in but so I'm only paying Russell one and it's easy to part ways with that you know I'm not on the hook so that's helping Denver pay they Onna hook for all that that's helping but I'm G say Russell man you talking about a guy w a Super Bowl he don't throw a lot of picks he threw over 4,000 some yards pitchburg likes to run he was most successful in Seattle when they ran the football I think Russell is a great pick um um fit with Pittsburgh especially the way Mike Tomlin coach definitely that run first so me personally I'm letting Justin sit on that bench watch Russell and I'm G let it play out like that right you know but that's right I ain't got no problem yeah I don't know if Justin ready I don't know if Justin ready for the but it's AFC North bro tough come in you know trying to figure things out figure things out that's tough that's tough so the job you think is is is still Russ I mean to lose it's his job to lose but I love what Mike Tomlin said about what he say I'm trying to get the know Russell right yeah so I'mma give him some uncomfortableness some miserable things I'm cuz held him out with the cat so I'm I'mma put it I'mma make it a little uncomfortable to see how he adjust adversity he said I'm trying to get to know him go this this way and that way I love that about that guy man I and he in a position like you said they didn't pay much for him so yeah H they they The Leverage all the Leverage is with Pittsburgh it's with Pittsburgh and and from like like a lot what a lot of people say about Russ like he can be sometime be a diva you know what I mean so uh Tomlin he G he Gon Work some he will not be div Tomlin locker room he not gonna be that no sir that's absolutely sir that's absolutely so I like the fact too that um you know like yeah he's still gonna have to work and earn this earn that spot even though you know so look right why we don't talking about quarterback contracts and all right that's switch conferences right is Dallas gonna pay debt do you think they should I was gonna get into that right yeah I think I I don't have a problem with dck right I I just have a problem with with it's it's D it's that ownership it's it's Jerry Jones man he's standing in the way he is like the one constant um with uh with with D I wouldn't have never signed Dak to the contract he got now me personally yeah I would cut my L but this the problem with that you can't trade that no yeah nobody want them I disagree with that Who Gon go you show me one place that's willing to pick up that contract no it's only one year left on contract but who G who wonna pick it up no no I think a lot of te San Diego I go down there and start I don't they they just put all that capital in Bryce young man I don't Bry Young's not getting paid what you mean all no but I'm just saying draft Capital they got they got rid think he do to complete this season because every time like he got the knee injury then he came back at a whole season then he got hurt so I think he do for a complete season this year but they need him to be healthy yeah yeah but he deal I mean he that deal like I like like he official I think though I think if all things said I think that if if Joe burs is healthy I think Cincinnati probably gonna be the team that come out on top of that if he's healthy they probably gota be the favorite well it depends too it depends too if the Ravens defense yeah can repeat what they did last year yeah if they do that it's gonna be hard to come out thatp Le yeah but what they did last year was unprecedented I ain't talking about that's what I mean they always good and even 2000 they had a historically great D meaning points allow but last year that defense was number one in every single defensive category that's unprecedented might not do that they might not do that and you lost your coordinator yeah so I don't know so you say are you but you're not saying that last year defense was better than the 2000 defense though no I'm saying I'm saying yes in a sense in a sense and this is why it's harder to play defense in this NFL in this time and day back then 2000 they could get real physical with you they can hit right they they come off the line but now you can't and for them to be number one in every category across the board and they gave up the least amount of points in the league and stuff like that that defense was that was UN that was historically great it really was they just don't get the credit I think they did they got the all time well because now because now the conversation around Baltimore is Lamar so you got that yeah you got that defense doing that which think it either GNA be Baltimore or uh Cincinnati and I say man you know still is one sleeping on Pittsburgh me sleeping on Pittsburgh I'm not sleeping on Pittsburgh how many games Pittsburgh saying and was they can improve on a quarterback yes they got Patrick Queen yes yeah me and brothering about they got Patrick Queen say he always around the ball when with the ra yeah I said man always around the ball now people gave a lot of credit what roquan Smith yeah yeah he let him they say Roan was was was a big reason for that but I said man that dud Pat PR be around the ball if Pittsburgh get their run game back to where their standard is because to me I'm not blown away with [ __ ] her his name two head monster him and the other that's uh that kid last year he need more rat he seem to run harder he need more reps seem to run harder he need more reps now they get back to that cuz pittsbur gonna always play solid D they know Cincinnati they know Cleveland and they always get a win out off them I ain't sleeping on this that's what that we teams came was in playoffs last year the only team that didn't go was Cincinnati and they still had a winning record all four teams winning records yeah and three of them made the playoff so and I don't know what the Bengals gonna look like without Joe Mixon I like him a lot I like him as I don't know what they gonna look like without I like him at Oklahoma man I always liked him man I really cuz he had change he catch the ball he can run man always seemed like he had high energy I always like I know he gonna help Houston hey and I on Cleveland cause dick chub went down last year and they still kept roll healthy Nick chub back that defense what it is like we say I don't know what version of Deshawn you get see that's that's gonna be the key to but they was winning games with desan before he got hurt they came to Baltimore and beat Baltimore what's came in and played well uh Flo Flo was throwing that yeah he in he with the co yeah yeah another job man I was disappointed in Cleveland man you supposed to hang on to him man I thought they should have to me they always make questionable decisions though know I mean Cleveland going Cleveland you know what going Cleveland even uh Sean Watson contract was like what yeah mean they went they say the second highest bid was Atlanta supposedly that's where was on his way going and then his agent got a call and it was like $30 million more than what Atlanta was offering yeah they said turn the plane around man3 million turn the plane around yeah so uh now what y'all think about like the Jets uh Aaron Rogers and the Jets I'mma say this man as talented as eron Rogers is I used to love his I love his game his ability and everything D and he they always want to blame the coach lafl for those playoff failes and stuff to me Ern has been shrinking in the postseason I don't mean no harm and as great as that D is and everything and the expectation in New York and stuff like that they still got to go through Kansas City you still got to get past Houston and some whoever come out to North and stuff I don't know how far the Jet's gonna go yeah I don't know yeah I don't know how far they gonna go I'm not so I'm not so I'm not yeah they ain't even really shoe to me to win the division to win that division Buffalo still there Miami you know what I'm saying miam yeah but Miami man so soft they can't finess you with that speed they try to finesse you with that speed Buffalo right I don't know if they as good as they was last year because they lost D yeah they wern't even using digs down the stretch I know I know he wasn't they was even using yeah he was different say last eight games they right and they started running the football you run that football with Josh Allen right yeah yeah even though a lot of times he one is running yeah yeah but they need that running back I don't need him throwing 40 times don't you really see when they run the ball that open up their receivers like more and they switched coordinators last year yeah that coordinator that took over that's what he did so you going you going into this season with that coordinator I yeah I don't know if the J is Shing to win the East E at all back to eron Rogers man you take out that Super Bowl victory that he got I think his playoff record is 500 not that great like 500 not that great and like you say talent wise you know him and Patrick Mahomes talent wise you know they neck and neck yeah I mean a prime ear Ro you know I mean talent wise but yeah man it's like I don't know if they neck and neck I know say I don't know neck and Ne r i neck and neck this cat switch hands and everything sometimes sometimes we get distracted with the fluff man man we get distracted with I watched him one day I watch him play the Ravens one year yeah when they had the coordinator was uh what's the guy name that just left not McDonald but the other guy who just left the Ravens yeah he went to the Giants what's the guy name the coordinator wik marale wink marale right so he had the Blitz in D man I watch Patrick momes toy with them yeah whenever they got into their Blitz he was throwing the hot rout when they backed up he was taking it underneath I mean he was just I ain't even talking about his arm Talent I'm talking about what he was reading yeah y this cat even last year when you see the play he made to Kelsey when he ran and then he just threw that pass in the in the in the in the back knee pad it wasn't even the back shoulder the back knee yo this cat do some he make plays out of nothing man sometimes huh Kelsey always I don't know I don't get that man and I know you know them defense coordinators they get paid millions of dollars to scheme and stuff like that but it seemed like this guy always running free yeah I think he wasn't open against Hamilton in end like his route running you know what I mean oh yeah it so and then top of that at that position they always at a mismatch anyway always like that's why you got those big you got linebackers covering tight end see see that's what about to say I wouldn't even put a nickel on I put my best cover guy on but that's what Baltimore did in the playoff they put Hamilton on yeah because Hamilton long he a linebacker and it helped a little bit it's always about match you know and Kelsey he's a pass catcher you know he a a blocker like drunk was stuff he a pass catcher so I'm putting my best cover guy on him not noer not no nickel put my best you like if I Dell Reas you cover him you know what I'm saying if I had Dion Sanders you cover him especially last year because they a have no true wide receiver threat definitely would my best cover you cover him I know all teams don't have that you think it has a lot to do with that you know what I mean if it ain't mandatory I can get fine I ain't going and when you're not adding new verbiage you're not adding new plays sometimes they work offseason they working together right right right getting chemistry and time and stuff big yeah maybe some of that we spoke about the fact that uh like a lot of these guys don't work off season with their with their wide receivers though you know what I mean we we talked about that like with Lamar like he he didn't always he always work out with this wide receivers doing the offseason yeah well he felt like they should come to him right which I agree but you have to ask yourself why they not willing to you because other quarterbacks they willing and then you make the off like come down man I'll put y'all up I put you up I got a che even if it ain't for a week 10 days working out that just you know because we used to see that from like uh uh what was the guy name Joe Mont so yeah but they they us do that with Brett fall sh they go yeah I think that extra workout that extra work really pay off too do you think do you think today's athlete is more um concerned with injuries I do you had less completions and things like so there their numbers are guard but as far as how they play per Debo is a giant he's he's he's all all of those guys I think yeah he helped their stats every name
