most Canadians are comfortable leaving a tipay when dining at a restaurant but with tipping becoming an option at more and more restaurants respondents are divided on what services they should leave a tip at now narrative research pulled more than 1,200 Canadians and found that 77% are fine tipping at a sit down restaurant the majority also expect to tip at a salon or barber shop but the pole found they are likely to receive lower tips most respondents say they are comfortable tipping 15% despite that many Pat terminal terminals now provide uh customers with options of say 18 or 20% so where do people draw the line well most respondents said services like fast food and takeout and Retail they will not tip I don't believe in doing so and about 6% of respondents to the survey don't believe in tipping at all
