positive or A negative and we chose to look at it as a positive because it allowed us to one serve a greater Community see what was needed in a very fast-paced way um and it allowed us to become extremely efficient as an organization um and to be able to help more people in more places in a faster way and really understand our community and so I think we are forever grateful for that opportunity to kind of step up and and and get things done and and now from there even though it's been five what seems kind of short years um there's like pockets and holes and I'm sure everybody coming out of the pandemic feels that way um but being able to um kind of get through that and now kind of find our feet I think has been really special and we're just excited to continue our impact everything happens for a reason and the uh just the journey gives you all type of different experiences along the way but this Summer's been amazing just knowing coming off of a tough NBA year to experience what we did and get you know obviously a win in in the Olympics and some of the things that I look forward to every year especially around our foundation and the work that we're doing here in Oakland um and you know our our tournament out here where we have an opportunity to continue to plan our flag on you know what's uh the focus for us you know moving forward and obviously our literacy goals within the Oakland Unified School District and um just the big investment we're trying to make and uh and getting kids at the appropriate you know reading levels through one-on-one tutoring and making that accessible for you know kids that are that are in need of it who are drastically behind you know the level that they need to be and knowing that it'll work so we're excited about that it puts everything into perspective of you know what basketball is done for me and the doors that it's open and you know trying to take full advantage of it
