you ready exactly what the deal everybody my name Kendrick Lamar and I'll be performing at Super Bowl 59 will you be pulling up I hope so you know there only one opportunity to win a championship no round tools let's get it but no this has none against Kendrick none against Kendrick yeah we think if you any kind of artist deserve it Little Wayne not to perform in New Orleans at the Super Bowl it's kind of tough man yeah and I just said Hot Boys cuz everybody's out you know BG out you know but what I'm saying you said everything right but little Wayne such a star he could you know how many songs he's done with other people and then you bring the hot boys out at the end crazy crazy everybody want me to speak on this Super Bowl situation look I'm mad about the situation just like y'all man but you know my hatred is toward the NFL you know not really not really the people that booked the halftime show I'm mad at the people that HDE the that book the halftime show feel like every time y'all come here y'all should have somebody from our city on this this time it really stick hit hard when you don't have Lil Wayne on the show I don't see how y'all don't have Lil Wayne doing a halftime show somebody that has a whole bunch of and somebody that really deserves it and somebody that can bring out multiple artists of all gen I want say forgive me for uh forgive me for the delay um the delay on you just the delay I want to say I had to first of all I had to get strength had to get strength enough to do this without breaking that hurt hurt a lot you know what I'm talking about it hurt a whole lot um I blame myself for not being mentally prepared for a let down and for just automatically mentally putting myself in that position like somebody told me that was my position I had some Intel I thought Maul was capping I thought he was lying about Drake turn Dr turned it down multiple times right the sticky part about all this is Drake has been offered this Super Bowl show for some years now and has turned it down probably years he's been offered perform at Super Bowl said no for whatever reason that sounded wild it was like like four times who turns out a Super Bowl that many times even a was like how many times he turn it down why would he turn it down I have an authority my my multiple my multiple sources have told me that Drake has and D turned down a Super Bowl he actually turned down the first two the one in Miami and the weekend one that was the first two that Jake took over yeah so so Jay takes over and again his rival whatever Drake like you talk about all these history and this back and forth I mean these guys all rivals with each other they've had their good times and bad times with each other but business-wise Jay-Z wanted Drake on that Super Bowl stage and he turned it down twice so now years later when an opportunity is asked of Kendrick and Kendrick says yes other thing I want yo yo yo it's big ant the spokesman man we back another edition of urban politicians TV upv make sure you stay on your pivot at all times man had to come tap in as it's been a lot of chaos conflict and controversy ever since Ken Lamar popped out Sunday and announced that he would be hosting the headlining position of this year's Super Bowl 2025 in New Orleans a lot of people felt the way and y'all heard all that and I put that on display so y'all can see the different opinions and different feelings online and I had a link in the description where y'all can watch them and full Ed as now nden went to his Instagram and let everybody know how he felt about it congratulations to my brother Ed Kendrick Lamar can't wait to watch the party die with exclamation points on it and he reposted the post that kend Lamar put up with uh Rock Nation and the NFL to announce that he would be doing a halftime performance for the Super Bowl this year and the reference of can't wait to watch the party die is the new track that Kendra Lamar dropped on 9/11 with the beat up look like the uh forces got done doing action and jacking and putting some work in and everything like that which is very symbolic that he ready for whatever coming with it and he coming through with that type of M uh message with this game right now talking about the negativity whether it be the music the lifestyle that's getting pushed and promoted the things on social media also the things that the uh radio stations and blogs and just everything is pushing right now now do I engage in the negativity myself and tap into it click it watch it uh and uh you know consume it of course I do I most definitely do I would be a hypocrite to come on here and lie and say I don't I find some of this stuff entertainment entertaining at time but what Kendrick Lamar is saying in this music is not wrong at all he's speaking the truth and we do need that balance in the game as well we do need that balance out here for the culture for the people for what hip hop is we've always had a balance throughout the years but right now in the game [ __ ] is just strictly focused on nothing negative just a bunch of negativity bunch of Chaos bunch of just all type of nonset you got to when you on the negativity you talk about that but you got to put some positive in there with it kind of mix it in a little bit let it blend to kind of give people a different concept so I got to agree with Ken Lamar on that and L Wayne had finally came to Instagram himself as y'all see right there and spoke about the news and everything like that that he was not the headline and performer I do feel like kendri Lamar was possibly going to want to include him on the show he still might do it but Wayne probably wanted that headline of position said that he felt the way about it and things but took some blame because nobody told him he was going to get it he saw this was going that way and told himself well that's going to be me and things like that performing for this year in my hometown and I tell y'all like this no matter how Wayne feel about it no matter the cultural identity of it which I get that I'm from the culture I know the unwritten laws of our culture hey homage to a niggaer home town he from here he a rap Legend he didn't put in the work he didn't put he got the catalog the hits the resume one of the best ever to do it before you bring another rapper from out of town it makes sense to let him get his moment but we have to know and understand y'all can feel how y'all feel the NFL has never been that and it never will be that they idea of what they trying to do is strictly business L Wayne not performing or headlining the Super Bowl does not dictate or make Lil Wayne have a less important career at all now true this might be a personal Accolade for him this might be something that hey it'll be a dope look for sure I would take any Super Bowl opportunity and it's something to brag about it's something to put down in history the greats have done it Michael Jackson didn't done it the great acts have done it you want to be able to do it but I feel like even if you don't do it it don't mean like you just less of an artist at all it's just another thing to put on your resume and things especially in your hometown I get it but people have to know and understand no matter how you feel the NFL is going to go with the business if Lil Wayne had had a big year like Kendrick Lamar had right here one of a kind one of these big Legendary Moments and he was even outside of just the rap battle the numbers that came with it the controversy that came with it the analytics the streams the live show on Amazon if it had that type of hypee intention and big record and Wayne was doing that he would be on the show or guess whoever any artist would be a asked to come out hey bro you want to perform on this Super Bowl this year no matter who it may be also they talking about Drake did actually turn down the Super Bowls I can't confirm that but that's why I tell y'all bro they have some you heard Elliot Wilson and them saying it was two Super Bowls not four like Maul was saying I don't know what's another publication say that this is not true at all but I'm just putting it out there either way if Drake did turn down a Super Bowl that's his choice that's his right but that would go against the Grainer what everybody saying that Jay-Z is trying to block opportunities and not trying to do business with young money and things like that when he reached out to Drake one of the most popular artists in the world to come on there and that's if that's true I don't I'm just telling y'all bro the NFL is going to make the decision and what they going to go with is them analytics they going to go with the money they not thinking about that cultural aspect when it comes to these cities like I keep telling y'all the NFL is not hey we want to appease and make the rap and hip hop and Black Culture uh happy and things like that they trying to implement things into it but that is not the ultimate goal man they on that business tell me what y'all think we got more coming more videos all at 1,000 for [ __ ] show stay your pivot
