I think 5 fo4 on a good day I think she's listed as five through wow what a comeback from trevisan really give a lot of uh space and likes to be on top of the Baseline she's very very aware the moment there's a on the US Open app and there's Taylor Townsen moving forward and doing what she does best shows how much pressure Trevis San's putting to Taylor but just look at how quickly she was able to just anticipate that going yeah she chose her Target but just gave herself so much room to work with just really doing well with finishing on this overhead as though you can just Reach Out And Touch the crowd and they're right there in it it's well done from Taylor Townsen and on her third break chance D son's like you know I'm going to wait for this plane to go a little bit looked up like really some good patience from Taylor towns and it's funny it's like you're reading my mind AR I oh that CAU part of the line Taylor's and after 40 6 minutes Taylor Townsen takes the first set on Stadium 17 six games to two over Martina trevisan of Italy you know what now the Shadows are starting to get a little bit longer on the court and you can see with Taylor lefties on the side of the Court she's serving on right now she had to gauge her toss twice tce before giving it a go well that was well controlled by Taylor towns and didn't go for too much and that's what you want to do especially with someone like Martina she loves to run around and she has no problem staying in the point but just look at [Music] [Music] the way I understand it iren is that Taylor and her coach it's not so much like serve to the forehand it's that's a fantastic job there [Applause] by a well done that was gosh her coach looks like a young Paul anacon and there is the break of serve Martin such a sneaky play there by trevisan doing such a good job the moment that she saw the racket face open up from Taylor she just rushed the net took care of it [Music] [Applause] so much Spin and shape on that forehand and still just so much room to work with little surprised that Taylor Townsen wasn't into the net after that great return that she hit holds for 4-2 yeah just an incredible return but look at the shot trevisan hit and was able to get Townsen just way behind the Bas try to Racket and hold serve here and keep the pressure on trevisan [Music] conversely Martina trevisan is going to look to create enough space to give herself a shot to serve this thing out at 52 we that close to the line but just did a great job with staying in this and Taylor Townson had a really good look at a pass and just couldn't quite get her feet and hips out of the way quickly enough on a kind of a shanked ball [Applause] and it only took one gosh the entire tener of this set has changed within the span of Four Points 40 love and just cruising in this service game until she wasn't and suddenly travison found her confidence again yeah you have to give credit to Travis son because it's very easy to [Applause] wow that wasn't in by much second match point now for Taylor towns and watch how close this forehand came to sailing line I don't think she was aiming that close [Music] h 6 to7 it was a grind to the finish one of the longer rallies of the match and tailor towns into the United States for the second straight years into the second round of the US Open with a W oh what a fantastic way to finish that match and I might contest that might have been the point of the match right there I think that we just saw so much variety so much uh you know just grit from both players
