All right, welcome back everybody. The high today was 93. That's the normal. And earlier in the newscast, I said, you know, clouds have kept temperatures respectable. I say that because North Texans, no, it can get extremely hot this time of year. The records 109 set back in 2000. So 93 respectable 92 not bad, uh, outside. Uh Right now DFW northeast winds at 13. When I say we have isolated showers in the metroplex. I do mean isolated. There are few and far between, uh, between Denton and Collin County. Right now, you have a couple that have streamed south through parts of Frisco, Little Elm up to Salina and then parts of Fannin County too. Seeing some rain right now. That's, you see this kind of hole right here, you know, there's been some stable air in place here. So these, it's taken a lot to get these to start going. But areas west of the metroplex a little bit better lift, they've seen more numerous showers and a couple of thunderstorms. Even east of the Dallas Fort Worth area from East Texas and then into eastern portions of North Texas. A little bit more in the way of, of scattered rain overnight. Tonight, still spotty showers, maybe a rumble of thunder, 000, severe weather here in North Texas. But you'll see a couple of sprinkles, a couple showers early tomorrow morning. The same thing now for Labor Day Monday, it's just like the last few days in the Dallas Fort Worth area. And by that, I mean, just the spotty hit and miss rain chance the widespread rain chance or the better chances for showers and thunderstorms will be right here. You can actually can we draw a circle in that area there, west of Metroplex, they'll have the better chance of rain, especially in the afternoon and early evening. Just scattered rain for everybody else from the Dallas Fort Worth area and off to the east and temperatures won't be too bad. 75 tonight, warm with light winds tomorrow. 87 we'll have scattered rain around the area. There's the 14 day. How about a high of 82 on Tuesday? I think that's nice. 71 Wednesday morning, which means some parts of North Texas will fall into the upper sixties, Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Then we start to warm up just a little bit as we approach the end of the week. And, uh, these scattered rain chances do come to an end before the weekend arrives this weekend or next weekend. I should say actually looks pretty good highs in the middle and upper eighties. Then beyond that temperatures close to normal in the low nineties, we will.
