Mother dead, Amber Alert issued for baby abducted by homicide suspect who is the child’s father

welcome back to East Idaho news everybody my name is Caitlyn Hart and today I am here in Victor Idaho where police say they are looking for a man who is suspected to have taken his baby and allegedly murdered his wife police are looking for Jeremy Albert best he is 48 years old 511 and 245 lbs I am currently at the area where this happened you can see the car the police car behind me they are blocking the road where it happened there is a house behind here where it is believed that Jeremy best lived um and this is also where the murder is alleged to have happened um we don't know a lot of details but the police have told us that at approximately 11:39 p.m. last night Teton County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call from a residence over here on Skyline Loop in Victor Idaho um deputies were dispatched and they responded to the disturbance that was heard on the phone call by dispatchers they say that deputies arrived at the residence and located a nonresponsive female identified as Cali Jean Randall 38 of Victor Idaho she was found dead at this residence and her death is currently being investigated the investigation is definitely still ongoing there are sheriff's cars here I can see at least one just blocking the road but I can't see much else past that um officers say they are currently trying to locate Jeremy best um the husband usand of the deceased woman who is believed to have left the area with his infant son Zeke Gregory best Zeke is 10 months old he uh is approximately 20 lbs um and they are believed to be in a black 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV with Idaho plates um go back to our website on East Idaho news.com to hear all of this again to read all of it again to know all the information make sure you know what is on the lookout um I have been talking to local around Victor and Driggs many of them who say that they know Jeremy and that they work with him and say they are shocked um I what is happening here in their small town um again police are still looking for him and we will update you as soon as we know more make sure to go back to East Idaho news.com and check out our updates throughout the day and throughout the investigation thanks so much
