Good evening to you at home as well after making landfall in southern Louisiana. As a category two hurricane Francine has been downgraded to a tropical storm. Torrential downpours have put 14 million residents under flood warnings. New Orleans is seeing more than a month of rainfall from Francine. Louisiana's governor is calling for residents to be smart and stay safe. But today I am just elated that those prayers work because we as of right now have no reports of any storm related fatalities and we want to keep it that way. About 300,000 are without power in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. The remnants of the storm are now heading north toward Memphis. About an hour ago, former President Donald Trump said he will not appear for another debate this election season. Vice President Harris's campaign had called for another debate after this week's face off more on this tonight at 630 on NBC nightly news with Lester Holt disgraced movie Mobile, Harvey Weinstein is facing another indictment on sex crime charges ahead of his retrial in New York. The indictment will remain under seal until his arraignment scheduled for next Wednesday. It is unclear whether these new charges will be included in that retrial or handled in a, as a separate case and some economic news this evening, American incomes rose last year even after accounting for inflation. The Census Bureau reports median household income rose to $80,610 last year. That's up 4% from the previous year. It's the first significant annual increase in inflation adjusted median household income since 2019.
