not the result that anybody wanted tonight but certainly the right reaction yeah I think certainly the right reaction and um I stand here obviously first and foremost you you don't want to lose football matches and you want to win them and we've come a little bit short in terms of getting a result here tonight but um wanted a reaction from the team we we were flattered the weekend I think that was clear we you know we lacked certain intensity about us and we were second best to a lot of things at the weekend um I leave here tonight um extremely happy in that sense and I get we've lost the game but um I thought to a man this team left everything out there tonight for the calls and and as and we showed real quality in certain moments as well so um yeah of course there's loads of things that we can be critical about and and and we can analyze it a bit deeper but I think with what's going on in that sense I'm very proud of the team a lot of new faces at the moment you're you're one of them still it's not been that long since you came in through the door and six changes tonight including three starting debutants been talk about the young Lads in just a second but how proud of you how everybody has gelled together in such a really short space of time again that is one factor you know people people from the outside probably don't understand the full dynamics of players coming in these players have been here for two or three days they barely had any training sessions we've had to prep this game tonight literally over meetings because we've haven't had a lot of training time in that sense and new players coming in and I thought the three three debutants were every bit of the reason they're at the football club Joe Bash year and Hannibal were were first class in that sense so um yeah we're we're excited of working with them we're excited of the qualities they bring and no doubt they're going to improve us and the two young boys as well Tommy and will when they come it was brilliant wasn't it um a long time ago it feels like 16 years of age away at Barry I was that that boy sitting on the bench um desperate to try and get on the field and and make my debut and these young kids yeah like I said it's a proud moment for them really and they they Grace the pitch in an arena up against the Premier League team and and they did theirselves real real Justice really and um they did S Credit and just finally a big few days coming up the transfer window closing that game at Turf Moore on Saturday as well and the togetherness that the lads have shown I know we touched on it upon but is worth mentioning again it's been brilliant amongst everybody yeah look it's it's going to it's going to be needed throughout this whole year none none other than this weekend I think we all understand and certainly I understand what der's mean and what der's bring I thought the supporting fans tonight were were incredible and I have absolutely no doubt come Saturday at 12:30 these supporters will be right behind this team and we're going to need every bit of them on Saturday um and of course there's a it's going to be a a dynamic for 48 hours for us hopefully we can we can add to to this squad and everyone's trying everything in their power to do that with a real willingness I think most important is is on on Saturday we we make Turf more a a real place that no one wants to come really and these these fans I have absolutely no doubt will be rooting for us supporting us and driving us for for three points and making it as uncomfortable as it can be for for obviously the opposition so looking forward to to getting there on Saturday we'll prepare now um for which is a tough game and more importantly we'll prepare for for every single one of these players and myself included to understand exactly what this means on Saturday for fans and and for all of us and and what we need to bring thank you cheers
