uhhuh okay I'm going to do it anyway uhhuh okay I'm going to do it anyway the development of my look I always call it an extreme form of child and success the sound that I'm crafting right now it goes by the name of rock and boom it's R&B with the intensity of rock the penmanship of hip-hop and a boom going to shake the world we used to shoot videos here the cot family used to own this and we talked to him and then we acquired the land so it's no more breaking entering no more trespassing you know I own it now and I also open it up to any other artist so if you're here in Bowmont you know come use it utilize it you don't have to call and ask for permission like Mr cotch you're good I want you to blow up I want you to shine you know the confidence in my singing voice is still still growing I'm still I'm still learning it I feel like it's not really the the the technique that I'm that I'm learning I think it's just letting go of the the fear letting go of my self-consciousness and just you know just allowing myself to really just feel and just be confident in my voice I think back to like when Chance the Rapper post me on this story and then like that excitement that I felt in my stomach as soon as I felt that I knew that this is what I want to you know give to all of my fans so like even with like my interaction it'll probably be a sticky know like I want you to know that these are real and even now like on tour I got like a phone that I give I give out my number to and even if I'm not able to answer it just feeling it vibrate in my pocket lets me know that you know you're reaching out to me I know it does a lot it does a lot for me so I can only imagine what it does for [Music] you we're about to head into John Seafood after a long day of shooting my favorite meal is the 5 and five salt and pepper chicken and shrimp with the fries really love this place [Music] usually when I come to Bowmont I don't really walk around as to though touchdown this is where I kind of come to like strip down and just walk around go to my favorite food spots I make references of salt and pepper everything in my music I mean on for all the dogs as a Bowman reference so I love just I used to do that really heavily in my music early on cuz I was just making music for like my close vicinity but I still wink back to the hometown as much as I can just to let them know like yo I'm still you know we still here still tto you [Music] know we are currently in the back of Club ecstasy I used to come back here a lot to location scout we walked down a little bit further that's we watch shot hunted drums and starting out you know we didn't really have a budget so we just tried to keep it very simple and use what we had and this alley was one of the things that I had I think a good sign for me is if we were all excited if we were all giggling and laughing or very excited on like an edit or something that was a good sign because if the room was excited that mean at least the city could be excited and I kind of still use that the room is excited the city is excited the state is excited the world is excited so we're about to walk into another place where a lot of my artist development happen so follow me [Music] in hey yo what's the deal don't come here start acting he acting bro you a don't never hug nobody bro what's the deal man this is who you go to in the city you know you want to sound right you want to you know hear some great beats this is where you come a lot of new music that's going to be coming out I record it here so every time I'm home this is where I come this is still where the Vibes and The Innovation and the creativity is I always try to tell people like don't really worry about what you got right now like it's the same at every level go to 20K maybe like the fold or something on some lazy stuff tell what yeah what this play we are in downtown Bowmont right next to Crockett Street Crockett Street I've done a few shows there I remember doing a show with Tisa Korean I like to come here on Sundays and just walk through cuz it's a true ghost town a true ghost [Music] town I think I think the dominant culture in Bowmont is is Extreme DIY I think we're just kind of showing you what what's in your vicinity what's in your backyard is enough to make noise in the [Music] world I'm excited for 2024 I'm excited for the Roaring 20s I'm excited for just getting better getting better at this getting better at music getting better as a [Music] person
