Let's talk about a guy, of
course, the guy is Juan Soto manual, will start with. You
would the Yankees winning at all this season, cause so, to
reside, in terms of personal influence, I don't think it
impacts too much, because I think Soto already loves it
here so much. He's already interacting with the bleacher
creatures, like we've seen, oh right, fielder in his first year
with the Yankees ever, do I think on the flip side, it
might impact the Yankees organizational mindset here,
because if they win a championship right, like you made a trade you traded, Michael King of the
Padres. Some other pieces and you got
one. So do for one year, all in year rental, you win it all success, right? So maybe the
Yankees, take a tad, more of a laissez-faire approach if they
win a championship and think we're not just going to outbid
anybody at any price because we want our
title. We brought in Soto mission accomplished but from
Soto snap point. I don't think it impacts much because he loves
the here. I think he wants to be here. He just wants
a dollar sign. Yankees should come with it, maybe just maybe
they don't come with it if they've already won a
championship, Because they have the, since
when has the Yankees organizational mindset been to
hang up banner and say, mission accomplished by that. The idea
should be go back and win the World Series every single
year. I think that if the Yankees do
get that parade through the canyon of Heros that they've
been waiting for since 2009. Yes, it might help. So do but to
a point I think that Soto is still going to go to the high bidder. You don't
hire Scott boras to take the second or third best offer
and if it's close maybe there's some kind of hometown Count
there. But let's I'm thinking back to Aaron judge
when he turned down 14 years and 415 million from the
San Diego Padres because he just didn't really see himself
as a padre. There's not going to be that Hometown discount. If
somebody blows the Yankees out of the water I think they're
going to get want soda. Yeah, I'm hoping the
Yankees books when out of the water but I don't know if
that'll happen Danny. All the talk is about Aaron judge.
These days, we saw the relationship between 2 of them
up. We have a lot of fun together but it is Aaron judges
success this season overshadowing Juan Soto. Yeah,
absolutely. Hundred percent every day all
day, social media, every headline. Everything I see
anything that pertains to baseball to the New York
Yankees. It is Aaron judge. He is the start, he deserves this.
So let's be honest. Like even if Juan Soto is having a career year and by the way don't forget
this little tidbit here, right? Juan Soto has been in
league for seven years. He's 25 Aaron judges second season in
the league. He was 25, right? That's how good one is, and I
actually think it's a good thing. Less pressure on him,
allows him to be better allows him to see what. Taryn, judges capable
of, and why he is the captain and why he leads this team. It's
kind of funny guys because we talked about stars on teams
and who's going to be the one guy does Juan Soto mind being
second, fiddle to Aaron judge. I actually think it works well
and allows one to be himself and be exactly the
guy, the Yankees need him to be for this club. But yes,
Aaron judge has taken the headlines as he showed, he's
doing things that we don't see in the game everyday. Want to
have his time but it is Aaron judges time, right now? Yeah, it
is getting completely overshadowed because I think you
take Out of the equation, we just
ignore the fact that he has 51 homers. He's sitting 333 we're
not done with the month of August, you just look at so do
himself and you think wow what an MVP season he's having. I think it's getting lost in the
shuffle. He's already got the career-high home run by 50 home runs this year. Juan,
Soto one. So to when it's all said and done, could have a
50 Homer 125 RBI season going into free
agency, and it's like, okay well judge it 63-64. So it's
just a 18. 1B type situation. I don't think that's right. I
don't think that's fair to Juan Soto now, the Yankees will
certainly take it. We're not worried about Fair Dynamics here
but there's an MVP caliber season from Juan
Soto. It's like okay you just having a good year
because judge is right there. Did you think of Lost in the
shuffle or did that come? Because of the shuffle? It came
naturally. Wow. Okay. Grandma brought that to my attention.
That was clever. They said it. I don't know. All right well we heard will
endure had said and he's not the only one thinking it Brian
will Soto's free agency come. Down to a bidding war between
the Yankees and the Mets. I mean the Yankees and the Mets
are both going to be in this, right? I mean, but I don't think
they're going to be the only teams in there. I
think the team that the Yankees are
currently playing down in d.c. right now is a dark horse
Contender here to bring in. So do I obviously they made a
14-year offer to him once before, why not do it again? And
so I think the Love Fest that he's
getting down there, this week could be a preview for the fan
base down there, to clamor for him to bring them back. Look,
the Dodgers are always in involved so I think The Yankees
and the Mets are going to be bidding a lot. Here, the Mets have 200 million dollars
coming off their payroll. This offseason by the way? Yeah
there's money going to be thrown a lot of it and want
sodas Direction. I'd like to be in his shoes.
