[Music] Chloe tro who joined Saturday Night Live for its 49th season has shared that she will not be returning for the show's Milestone 50th season in a heartfelt Instagram post on September 9th tro expressed her disappointment writing unfortunately I was not asked back to SNL this season I wish I was going back to be with all the amazing friends I made there it truly felt like home but it wasn't in the cards despite her departure tro conveyed her gratitude to her supporters saying I want to thank everyone who supported me especially everyone who came to see my tour this summer ore costumes from characters and had such wonderful things to say you mean everything to me I hope I was able to spread joy and laughter all love onwards and upwards Ro is not the only cast member leaving Punky Johnson and Andrew Des smookies will also be stepping away from the show in light of these changes SNL will welcome new faces including Ashley Padia Emil Wakim and Jane wickline they will join the current lineup of original cast members like Michael Chay and igon Nim as well as recently promoted Stars marchelo Hernandez Michael Longfellow and Devin Walker the 50th season of Saturday Night Live is set to Premier live on NBC on September 28th 2024 at 11:30 p.m. eastern time 8:30 p.m. Pacific time and will also be available for streaming on peacock
