Alex karp the CEO and founder of palent Technologies just left the entire CNBC panel absolutely speechless this man has said something I've never thought a CEO of a70 billion company will say on national TV the man has balls of steel and because in my videos I never ha you hostage you're going to hear exactly what you said in the beginning of the video the bottom line always comes first the analysis is always later if you got stuff to do you got to go I understand I'm not in the business of creating retention for Revenue bottom line first so don't click nothing don't smash nothing don't buy nothing now the bottom line here is quite simple I'm going to let you know what he said then I'm going to show you how he said it and then we're going to break about the other million things he said in that interview which are absolutely mind-blowingly insane so the first thing I want to focus here and the one thing that blew my mind and I think left everybody speechless is that this man went on CNBC and said hey piler is going to 10 x from here meaning pilante is going to be a $700 billion company now a lot of CEOs of publicly traded companies they think that maybe potentially they fantasize about that nobody would have the kahunas to say this on national TV like it's just another Tuesday and yet this man does shows you exactly what he's made of and what the company he has created in his image is made of check it out my firm belief is paler will be 10 times bigger in the future you know you've had all these critiques of paler where the Frankenstein monster it can't be a product it's never going to be be free cash flow positive it's never going to be Gap profitable it could never get on the S&P it's clearly very valuable but it can't be 10 times Val more valuable and you know our our job is to show and not tell and we are going to show that we can be 10 times bigger than we are now now this is the same man just a few days ago posted a video message to the retail investing Community saying hey guys you are the real deal for decades and decades all this mainstream media all these professional money managers they have trained you to think that you are subpar that you are inferior to the smart money you are the dumb money this man comes out a day after the S&P 500 inclusion and says look retail investors that's not a derogatory term anymore retail investment that's not a slight retail investor have seen their true value of penter before all of you so-called smart money retail investors have put their money their reputation on the line betting on us when you were running for the hills because retail have gone through the mud they have gone through the tough times and to find a CEO of a $70 billion company with one of the most fundamentals in the stock market I'll show you in a second the fundamentals of paler are absolutely insane a company like that a company that's headed to be the next Microsoft pretty much a company like that has a CEO that comes on and does a video message for the retail Community saying hey we are the rebels we won [ __ ] Wall Street pretty much that's what he said I'm paraphrasing slightly I don't think he actually said [ __ ] Wall Street but hey well I think that's what he actually thinks although I don't have official confirmation I mainly support by the way something that seems to be escaping both parties which is if you touch an American we will inflict pain on you for Generations that should be the US policy whether that happens in Gaza whether that happens in Ukraine wherever that happens you cannot touch Amer one of the things that impressed me the most about this interview has nothing to do with Foundry AIP paler the stock market Wall Street or even economics or Finance not even stocks he basically said look America whoever wins these elections it doesn't matter who wins but America has to adopt one simple policy if you [ __ ] with an American anywhere on this planet you will receive generational levels of pain that's very simple concept that needs to be understood by American adversaries and it's been kind of Lost in Translation of the past few years it has to get back now Alex isn't taking Sid here he's not saying hey I think Cela will do it better or Trump will do it better he basically says look whoever wins you have to make sure that America projects strength again otherwise this whole thing is going to come down like a house of cards this is step one of building the dominance of the West over over its adversaries now look I don't know what about you there's a lot of people want to burn down their house I get it they're Psychopaths but I as somebody who came from that part of the world and very happy with the Western way of life and I would like to preserve it and if you got a problem with it and you want to see Empire is burned you're welcome to go to Iran or China and set up shop over there I don't give a [ __ ] let's dig into the software so we're here AIP pcon for your software AIP um you've been on the record that right now only two things matter chips and ontology all right so you don't make chips what's ontology you've been out talking about ontology kind of preaching about it how does it relate to Enterprise customers and the use of AI so there's AI is a mysterious Revolution people basically have it wrong they think all the values in the large language models large language models are like is like hydrocarbons in the ground they need to be processed if you're going to do something Beyond chat something that is crucial for the business like bringing hydrocarbons out of the ground or actually in the government contest monitoring troops figuring out how to kill your adversary while staying alive th that raw knowledge has to be processed and put in your system in the logic of your system and in the security model of your system at the cost your system wants to pay for a particular kind of model so long story short that hydrocarbon like llm is essentially worthless to your business without the processing capabilities both in the antology and in Foundry and we believe this 5 years ago we figured this out by the way by doing work for the US government some of that work is going to be presented today so if you want to really kill your adversary on the battlefield or change the economics of your business you need a way of processing the raw resources so our main goal is to accelerate product development in all areas military manufacturing government AI backed targeting AI backed uh ways of running your business where do you put the wires what is the most efficient way of having the customer connect to you how do you do preventive maintenance on the wires how do you do preventive maintenance on the on the infrastructure You're Building how do you do the capital allocation so that you can maximize it these are all these are these are actually life and death uh issues for the Enterprise because if you mess that up you mess up your margins you mess up the quality of your revenue and you get disrupted by other competitors and what pounder will allow you to do is transform that in in in in a in in a quarter what would have taken you three five years to do and that's why we have these very loyal very deep contracts with customers and by the way us commercial especially but also including uh you know BP and and other places in the world is just extraordinarily strong we've been growing year onye roughly 70% for 3/4s so it's like we are famous for what we've done to help the US and its allies I'm very proud of that but you know the unknown somewhat public secret of peners we're just crushing it in US commercial and that's really important it's important for America it's important for paler car basically was asked one question which is hey what do you guys even do the usual standard question by people who don't understand poer Tech and have not really bothered to educate themselves on the topic which seems to be kind of a recurring phenomenon in Min media but that's besides the point and Alex says one simple thing we will help you the company understand your business better than you ever had before and guess what next time you are going to disrupt yourself instead of the next Hot Shot startup coming in and taking your lunch you will do it yourself time and time over with our solution we will help you be the disruptor of your own industry so you don't lose your dominance in the next 10 15 20 years you stay always ahead of the curve with our software with our solution with our platform instead of you getting old getting tired and getting stale we're going to keep you up to date that's a great sales pitch but also it is true because that's how you have hundreds of clients willing to pay millions of dollars every year for this thing and if you remember back in the day one of the biggest problems paler head is to get through the door corporate clients unlike the government for some reason had a lot of politics in them back in the day and paler always struggled because the point of contact in the company would never never let paler in because they've already built a Frankenstein product that have cost millions of dollars they're not about to let paler walk through the door and say hey whatever you guys built over there that cost a [ __ ] lot of money we got something a fraction of the cost that works 100 times better nobody wanted to look stupid stupid but back in the day I told you this gatekeeper problem is going to solve itself you know how well because a few Brave customers will take the leap of faith on paler those customers will dominate their industry and when they dominate the industry the other businesses will actually start banging on palen's door and it's going to be an oversubscribed business model which exactly is what happened right now customers are banging on the door paler can't meet the demand the cost of not working with paler has gone up so much that it outweighs the cost of looking like an idiot for not doing it in the first place now look I also want to talk about the fact that Peter Teel literally told you guys this is what going to happen way before Tom Nash did if you read Peter teel's book 0 to1 from 2017 he literally laid out the game plan of how he's going to do it 0 to1 literally says hey we're going to build a company that's going to be a monopoly pretty much in a market that still doesn't even exist with a product that nobody even understands of how it's going to look like and people thought it was a psychopath and yet now when you read 0 to1 in 2024 it makes perfect sense now Alex carp also says what I've been saying for the past few months llms are a commodity nobody cares about llms and generative AI the money isn't there the money is either in the infrastructure where Nvidia is making a killer bank or in the anology which is literally the operating system the llm is just the commodity it's everywhere everybody has an llm grandpa has built a new llm who gives a [ __ ] the money is infrastructure and operating system there's no other solutions that come even close to nvidia's and Palante [ __ ] now nvidia's moment has already happened so people understand yeah Nvidia is the best at what it does palen's moment hasn't come yet people are still standing at the bottom of the mountain saying that it's a beautiful day they don't see the Avalanche coming the moment that happens paler will have its Invidia moment I've been telling you this is going to happen for the past four years people have been calling me crazy well not so crazy anymore now look another thing he's saying is that look we're building a company that's based on providing a solution that is tailor fitted for a client with the speed of a completely automated off the-shelf product think about what I just said here basically what this means is the way to sell software back in the day until Palante arrived was very very unique that unique system was build something that people have built before so you can raise money to build that because you have to prove that it work works and then shoehorn that thing and try to shove it down the throat of your client and basically make it somehow Frankenstein work right pener comes in and says no we're going to do this absolutely different we have an absolute sandbox of a system you tell us exactly your business your logic your needs your problems we're going to study it we have the smartest the best people then we're going to come back and build in our sandbox mode a software solution which is absolutely automated but is custom tailored to you so this interview is a great showcase of what Alex karp really is and what he isn't he a non-compromising guy he is clapping at the doubters at any opportunity basically teabagging them into Oblivion he's full of confidence but not arrogance and he's not scared to say exactly what he thinks including not to [ __ ] with America including that he thinks that Palante is going to tend X including everything he said that nobody in Silicon Valley would have ever thought about saying a year ago when I started this penter Journey a lot of people are saying well Tom you need to look at snowflake Warren Buffett invested in Snowflake it has better net dollar retention look at how many clients they have they have all these collaborations and Frank slothman is God's gift to humanity and all this okay okay cool now I've never invested in Snowflake but let's review this you know this is 2024 when we started this journey snowflake was you know 2020 snowflake was all the hype snowflake is still not profitable palente has been profitable for quite a while snowflake is not the S&P 500 paler is snowflake of the past year has reduced its EB da by 24% peners of the past year increased by 500% income net income minus 18% of the past year on snowflake penter plus 1,000% cash positions minus 14 over the past year paler plus 30% forward be of snowflake 120 now is paler trading in a massive premium yes is it actually one of the hypest stock in the market right now yes is it very expensive yes can it drop 50% yes all of these things are true think about Tesla post the hype cycle where it was the darling of the stock market Anything Can Happen hence the importance of DCA dollar cost average which is essentially buying the stock every couple of weeks 14 days buy 14 days buy 14 days buy still goes up you buy still goes down you buy and if the stock drops it drops below a certain threshold which you set which you can learn more about in our Academy pin for Nash if it drops below certain threshold and you can start thinkering with that weighted average and start dollar cost averaging at a little bit faster of a speed that way in two or three years all of a sudden when everybody made two or three bucks on the stock trading from 32 to 35 you've been sitting in a 10 12 14 average basically doubling tripling your money especially with a company of these sort of fundamentals a 30% free cash flow margin a 50 rule of 40 when 40 is considered absolutely insanely good a company that in 2019 had 2400 employees currently nearing 4,000 employees just 5 years later a company that had a lot of fud fear uncertainty and doubt to deal with about the delution oh my God pilers deluding in shareholders look in 2021 paler had two billion shares right now it has 2.2 billion shares pener over the past 3 years or so has deluded 10% of their shareholders 10% in 3 years all this noise look in 2019 pener had a billion dollars of cash it's currently sing $4 billion of cash company had 4X their cash since 2019 and yeah sure it was unprofitable in 2020 minus 1.1 billion in 2021 minus 500 million in 2022 - 370 million in 2023 plus 210 million trailing 12 months $400 million I've told you it's temporary that unprofitable company thing that's gone delution is gone scalability is gone with 80% gross margin when the company's business keeps getting better and better but the price keeps dropping dropping like we had in 2022 this is the time to Dollar cross average folks I've told you this before a company has a free cash flow that has literally 10x since 2019 from 46 million to 550 million a company with a revenue growth that went from $1.1 billion in 20 20 to $2.5 billion right now 2.5x Revenue in four years so scalability [ __ ] delution [ __ ] non-profitable [ __ ] so penter has basically spent the last four years eliminating the [ __ ] in the fud now while the rest of the smart money was betting against it shorting the stock and basically saying it's a bad deal the retail Community actually knew better and that's why retail investors got to invest in this company without the premium because they knew better than the so-called smart money look at how much premium this company added for its investors the ones who bought at seven and eight and N9 and 10 and $12 and $15 and $20 over the past year the company's up 123% past 6 months 41% I guess it's not a $5 stock after all [Applause] [Music]
