one low reverse mocha and this is necessary so much changes between the time a shoe releases and after wave after wave after wave after wave of replicas have released that it's worth understanding where Things fall at any given moment so let's dive into this comparison and see where we stand in 2024 so just like in every video I tell you guys not to just rely on what I'm saying and what I'm showing in the one particular video like this particular video that you're looking at you can always go to the Instagram account on the screen so you can find more pictures and more details of the shoe in question because the more you know and the more you can hone in on the better you're better off you'll be when you are out in the wild trying to buy the authentic shoe I know a lot of people that just based on my videos have found things that I didn't even realize so it's definitely worth doing the extra effort because if you don't you could easily blow $2,000 on a replica shoe so uh let's not do that I don't want to see that for you guys do your research don't just study this video study the plethora of other videos that I put out on the shoe as well so with that said let's actually get into this comparison and I'm not going to actually go that deeply into the box because you guys actually can see uh the bulk of the differences on the box just based on what you can see right here in this case uh unlike part one the box sizes are identical they do both have the the uh oversized box the difference is is the color all of that extends throughout the rest of the box and the rest of the design so let's talk about the shoes if you guys hear my dog snoring in the background I apologize in advance but uh it is what it is he's here I'm here you guys are going to have to deal with it but uh with that said let's jump straight into my classic side by side view because that is going to be the easiest way for us to identify differences in color so let's do that so this view pretty much summarizes the bulk of what is legit checkable when it comes to these uh reverse mochas and most of it can be seen through the midsole through the nubuk and through the reverse swoosh starting with the midsole I can see that they're definitely pretty close in color much closer than we've seen in previous pairs I like to do this side by side comparison here cuz it makes it a little bit easier to tell the tonal differences between and I will say that they're actually very very close the rep might just be a little bit more yellow than the authentic pair which seems to be a little bit more washed out um the texture on the rep is definitely a lot more defined as well but for sure the there's a slight bit of yellowness to the outsole midsole of the rep that the authentic pair doesn't have but now switching back to our classic view the next thing that we're really looking at is the reverse swoosh color and just like with most reps the reverse swoosh on the authentic pair is darker on the authentic than it is on the rep which has a lighter more muted reverse swoosh uh and I'll say this right now there is not a single rep batch out that has the correct color reverse swoosh why I have absolutely no idea but it is 100% the case there is not a single rep that I have come across that matches this and the same thing can be said for the fragments as well obviously the reverse swoosh is a slightly different color on the fragments than the reverse mochas but it's the same case rep manufacturers just do not match it they've gotten very very close and you can see that here they are very very very close it's always this more washed out sale on the replica reverse swooshes and thankfully that is not something that has changed in the two years since the shoe has been out so it is still a very very good legit checking indicator but uh it nonetheless it's still the case that you guys can use that as a bar for legit checking and understand there is no rep that gets it right this will always be or at least has been the case for the past 2 years and as of this 2024 refresh still the same deal from there let's take a look at the newu because that is the next thing that a lot of people care about and they should because it is a pretty good indicator and I would say that the new Buck on this pair actually looks very close very very close they feel the same I will say that the new Buck on the authentic pair feels a little bit more taut than the replica pair but uh they do feel the same for sure uh the rep pair just being a little bit softer along with the leather as well the toe box in general just feels softer on the rep than it is on the authentic pair but the materials themselves feel the same just a little bit less rigidity uh but from there I would say that the colors are uh pretty close and I would say probably within retail range if I had to be honest um the only real difference that I'm seeing looking at them side by side is that there is a a little bit more saturation to the authentic pair you know when you get past the ashiness than the rep and when you do that it reveals that the authentic pair is a is a tad bit darker as well moving to the side you can see that color difference extenda a little bit more again uh the authentic pair definitely feels stiffer in that new buuck than the rep the rep itself is a softer shoe all around but colors definitely a lot closer for sure from there there are other little things that we can look at when it comes to Colors as well we like to take a look at the Cactus Jack and the Nike Air tags uh we can see that on the rep here on the right the Nike Air tag is definitely a lot brighter of a white uh and it looks like it might be it might be the way the light is hitting it but it also looks like the red is a little bit deeper of a red on the Nike Air tag as well uh but from there one of the things that I've seen consistently on reps as well is that the Cactus Jack tag just seems to be a little bit more washed out and almost a sail color itself while the authentic pair is a bit brighter of a white and I think the camera picks that up pretty well so that is definitely something that you can look at another thing that I like to look at because it seems like rep struggle with it is the laces um and the colors just seem to be on previous batches I've seen the colors be off but the laces tend to be a good legit Checker here and we have some slight differences between the laces uh the white laces are a little bit more pure white on the rep than they are on the authentic the red laces are a little bit darker on the rep here than they are on the authentic and the brown laces a little bit darker on the authentic than they are on the red it seems that these laces that this rep is using are completely different than the laces that the Reps were using on the first part of this 2024 refresh but uh from there let's take a look at the shape because that is one of the things that is uh usually a pretty good legit checking indicator I always like to point out uh specifically the slimness and compactness of the retail pair but when you go into the toe box specifically pay attention to how the toe box is shaped how it bellies out especially out in the front but if you look at it from this point of view you can see it belly out towards the sides a little bit as well it's honestly the only real way I know how to describe it uh one of the things that I like to point to is how far up the leather comes up on top of the toe box generally reps come up a lot higher onto the toe box than authentic pairs do so let's see how this one does uh and I would say that this is probably the case as well uh the toebox leather definitely comes up a little bit more on to the top of the shoe than the authentic pair does it's a subtle thing but it's something that I like to point to because it's consistent and uh what definitely does have that bulkiness to it but this it just this is just way too extreme in my opinion um but it does bulge out and it probably will bulge out even further once these get worn because as I mentioned earlier in the video the toe boxes are definitely softer on this rep pair than they are on the authentic pair which is interesting the leather feels the same it's just there's almost like less rigidity to it overall but um for the rest of the shoe I would say that the shape is more or less the same this does not look like a super bulky shoe in comparison so uh for this pair specifically the shape is done pretty [Music] well but outside of that guys um the only other thing that we really we can really look at is um the white leather and the Cactus Jack Tex on the side here with the authentic pair uh the white leather is generally a bright white and the Cactus Jack tag uh four sizes about 11 and Below you're going to see some sort of Engagement with this Stitch and the C of the Cactus Jack but you also want to make sure that this Cactus Jack is muted and dull and flat so when we look at the rep we see that it is definitely flat and you got some engagement with the Stitch and the C but it's definitely a lot glossier than the authentic pair and you can see how it catches the light uh but the colors are much closer than previous pairs that I've seen and it's not bold and protruding so that's nice uh and when I mention white leather uh you if you guys recall I've talked about how the white leather is always brighter on the authentic pairs than it is on the Reps the Reps use almost a a very very very light gray uh a very Warm White that almost looks grayer off white and it's the case here too it's definitely not as drastic as previous pairs that I've done but it is definitely different very slight but uh it's a legit checking indicator if you guys are that deep into it because consistently I don't think I've seen a single replica pair that matches the white leather so uh this is also a good view for the embroidery for the Fanatics that care about that I said before and I'll say it again embroidery for these Jordan 1es is is very inconsistent for Nike pairs so I don't like to use it as a legit chick indicator but if you guys want to look at the color go ahead snapshot that and since I did the wings logo I'll also do the Cactus Jack smiley face so that said guys uh there's not much else to go into uh as I've mentioned in in in the last refresh video if you guys want to see a black light test head over to the old videos if you guys want to see more detailed uh comparisons on boxes head over to the old videos this is just the down and dirty what's what when it comes to the shoe this is not meant for me to do a total breakdown this is just so that we can see where things are headed so uh this is objectively a different batch than the original than the first pair that I did so if I find out what that batch information is I'll post it on the screen right here uh the but it looks like it looks like things are still in a good state for authentic buyers shoes are still very legit checkable they are close don't get me wrong they're are close and there's definitely more than one batch floating around but with the right tools with the right education with the right research you will you won't get scammed you'll be able to do your legit checking so with that said guys
