wolver Hampton this to and we beat him 62 I absolutely love it I'm loving it I'm loving it 62 it feels nice just to smash a team and I'm going to go out and say something right now and this is the definition of let me finish let him cook I actually watched that game and it's not just because the last time we smashed Wolves at the mullu was under this manager but just in terms of like how we're playing football kind of let me finish let me land it's giving me Lampard Vibes in the sense that with portino a lot of the time it was like oh there's these Great Performances but um we just couldn't get over the line and we'd lose a lot of games but we'd only lose like 1 n 2-1 it would always be close and our real problem was a problem with a lot of managers which is scoring goals whereas with Lampard it was very much we're good at e rangee under Lampard we was one of the most exciting teams in the league for better or worse a lot of times for worse for us right but like we were exciting and it's like going forward and going back even at 62 up we we were we were we were box office um and to be honest going into the final two games before International break against sevette who by the way looked absolutely Toothless in in in the first home leg and then Crystal Palace at home a team who I think we have the best record against currently other the teams in the league like we're just really good at Palace and we're at home and they haven't had a Lee say this because they lost him to B obviously and they haven't won a game so far this season they've lost lost both of their opening games it just feels like we should should because there'll probably be some some you know sort FKS in the road and stuff to trip us up to a couple hurdles um we should be going into inter break with four wins that should be the case you have actually got a very easy run on paper teams up until we play that Liverpool Arsenal United new C all like right after each other but up until then we should be winning all these games uh to be honest now I could see a world I actually can't see a world I'm going to pretend I could see a world where we somehow didn't beat Palace just due to how shaky we are at the back we'll get into that in a minute as we go and R for the players could have went Evo at halim that goes without saying it was 2-2 it was very much a pendulum swinging game but for some reason we came out in the second half and we executed we was trying to execute all through preseason and through the first half of this game so let going rank for the players from I think 13 to one we're doing 13 players here lowest ranked players probably like a six or seven highest ranked 10 out of 10 you don't get much better than that right so at the bottom in 13 I've went with kaiso I just do think in that first half you know I don't feel like our problems under maresa are really going forward um it is the Midfield and defense the Midfield I think gets bypassed way too easily at times I think we've seen that in both games and in preseason preseason take a pinch of salt and all that but still and I feel like our center backs sometimes they look like the person um who completely it up but I feel like they're in positions where they're vulnerable and they don't really know what they're doing yet so it's it's like half Midfield half defense has more been our issue giving the ball away too easily like giving giving other teams chances easily and I just think kis though giv the ball away being a little bit weak in to challenge you know the Midfield being P pass too many times um he's at the bottom he wasn't Dreadful but he's the lowest rated I've given here going up from there I've got mudrick I don't know what you want me to say this isn't an agenda it's just there's a lot of players who played well and Madrick was on the wing it's it's difficult when the other Winger gets a hattick you know and the Winger who comes off the bench for you at halim gets an assist or be at that point where like 52 up and the game is completely open but and Madrick didn't really do anything like he wasn't bad I actually think his decision making was a lot was much improved this game I thought like there's a big more emphasis on Crossing from Wingers I've noticed Wingers just crossing the ball a whole lot more um but I don't know what to tell you there was just other players who had more of an impact he went up at halim which is interesting to see I guess um how many more minutes he gets in this side but yeah I have got Madrick here going up from there I've got Gusto um I think this is more just me lashing out or something I don't actually remember too many things G did wrong um there's a couple times where like they had so much space either Winger option like either flank so much space because it feels like we've got like you know it always feels like we're light in defense because of this formation we're playing in this style it always feels like we're down to 10 men sometimes especially on the counter and the amount of times there's just a free man and it's like not just a free man but even if he doesn't get it there's another free man another free man and just you just can't help but feel like it's the fullback fault even though he's you know in Midfield and you know it's all like confusing basically about who's meant to be where at time who's meant to be picking who up but but outside of all that it's just that if I'm being honest as as of right now I don't really see enough of a benefit from having gusto in Midfield as much as I see a negative at the moment for not having him in defense in terms of what we give up in terms of the defense I don't think we gain too much froms in terms of attack so far people will chew your off about that in terms of you're an idiot it's the second game of It season all right I can only talk about what I've seen so far give me a break going up from there we I got Sanchez I was kind of thinking did sanchezz really do anything in this game I can't remember not that that's a bad thing sometime keep have quiet games I was trying to think did he make any exceptional even half decent saves and not that I really remember none of the goals are his fault but I did remember that for the our second goal um his distribution was really good it was a great long diagonal ball uh I think jensson also had a a long ball that was decent against s which led to a goal or at least at least like a chance or something I can't remember that game was so boring but like um so that that's clearly something that's emphasized on the goalkeepers he plays a great long ball up to Jackson Who flicks over the defender's head and Co Palmer does what Co Palmer does wow and up until that point I thought Cole Palmer was actually get struggling to get into the game a little bit but that kick started his game and there is no other player on the pitch I don't think where I would have been as certain as I was would it fell to go pal that okay this is going into the back of the net um and that's just nice to see you don't want your like top goal scorer and like goal involvement player in general General going like you see how it's like even players like Harry Kane when they don't score in August and it becomes this big thing and premier league and all these media Outlets are making Graphics about it and stuff so it's just nice that he got a bunch of goal involvement St it's just to quiet that already already two games in I'm already thinking about that kind of thing going up from there from Sanchez I got fana didn't really do anything wrong there's a couple times where like it it literally feels like at times like COA or their Striker I can't remember remember his name I know too much about him actually quite liked him though their striker they was literally able just to walk between our Defenders into the box at times where it's like okay coell for feels like that should be your fault but like it's difficult to say watching it sometimes but I don't really think he did much wrong there's a couple times where like he almost played himself into trouble but just about got away with it so I've went for him here think it was fairly solid going up from there I got two players who came off the bench I've got Felix and then I've got Netto no had more game time so like it makes sense that he'd be a bit higher he was a bit quiet to be honest but ultimately when he does get the chance and he does get the space it was late on but when he does get that space um he makes the most of it and he puts in a good cross he kind of looks like he's going to pull it across the keeper but then pulls it back to Felix who tidy finish Felix to put just above him because I think his game outside of that was a bit quiet he had less minutes um couple Zs in the counter attack is a bit wasteful um but yeah I've went for them both here going up from there I've got Nicholas Jackson he gets himself a goal and assist outside of his goal involvements though his actual impact on the game was quite small which is ridiculous because two goal involvements is a big impact in the game what I mean is outside of the two actions of the header from the flick on and the flick on to Palmer um he wasn't in the game too much but he gets those goal involvements nonetheless no one cares and I've put him this high up good from Nicholas Jackson going up from now got k carea i just like K carea I like one of my biggest problems with Kuka like a year and a half ago two years ago whenever it was was that he would step up all the time get nowhere near the ball leave the Defenders behind him completely exposed to get like a yellow card sliding in or something or just be completely open now he steps up all the time and he wins it and his anticipation just seems like way better and how he reads the game and stuff and he's fing into a challenge and I just like him he's buzzing around the pitch um going up for now got Enzo kind of controversial maybe to have Enzo this High I think his impact on the game was that huge but I just do feel like in a Midfield where we were struggling at times especially in the first half and he was kind of a part of that problem I feel like as a whole we could was getting really bullied like walls were very aggressive um and we were kind of just getting shoved around I think the referee was extremely soft in both for both teams to be fair but I just think we were getting bu and in the second half Enz started to put his weight around um and I liked him into challenges more so than like him spreading the ball and stuff uh I actually lik the physical parts of his game and his him and kaiso stepped both them up uh kais I have last year which it's harsh to put anyone last I was kind of didn't really know how to put last but yeah I think they both stepped up in the second half was way more physical uh my top three I've actually went for Cowell maybe because Cowell's had a lot of pressure on him recently A lot of people saying why is he even here he's so overrated that now I have at least a half decent performance I want to put him like up there I do just think this is a game where there was a lot of goals a lot of goal involvements a lot of things for people to be excited about new signing scoring stuff like that that is easy to overlook you know Defenders and that but I think Co kowal had some good blocks last its challenges tackles that got us out of danger which could where the game could have went away from us at points I think it was really solid there's a either one of the goals you could maybe look at it and say who's meant to be tracking him there was that his fault there wouldn't that one smack to the bar who was following him there but like I think overall we had a good performance amongst the chaos and then going into the top two who's going to be number one out of the two goal involvement hes you know we got Palmer we got Mada awake in that order I'm going Palmer and Mada awake now Palmer gets more goal involvements he gets four he gets a goal and three assists by the way assists all of mada's goals um I'm going madai simply because there was an opportunity here after he posts um on Instagram everything about this city is just and then you realize it's the wrong Instagram or whatever I saw a tweet like oh my God it's written in the stars already we're going to lose 2 nil the Wolves admins going to post like city is not so after all is it a little winky face and I thought that is just the most predictable thing that would likely happen it's just admins love doing cheeky little stuff like that just feeling like they're the man so like I was just thought that's going to happen but the exact opposite happened he stood on business and um gets a hattick and like every he just L like he was going to score every time he ran forward the fact that we were like yeah we'll accept offers for non um if they're like if we get like5 million pound profit on him yeah we'll accept we'll accept an offer 5 million profit is enough for us to just accept an offer and then he's really responded to that with what is that four goals now in in his last two games and we can just hope he keeps that wrong and like I don't imagine he's going to have a season like K had last season but even anything close to that considering how low the goal involvements were for our Wingers last season like I would take that of course um good game was nice just to watch a game and like you're know none of it it's never tense like it got to a point when I thought oh my God we got so much of the game left and it's completely gone we're three goals ahead and you can just of chill out that was nice s and Crystal Palace they should really both be wins so let's keep our fingers crossed for that good performance I'll see you then
