Phillies vs Guardians (Rookie Tyler Phillips Complete Game)

we be here in our next segment with Kevin to talk about the trade possibilities so buckle up if you're a baseball fan as weird as it is to say they are baseball's best team but post Allstar break the Phillies have not been playing some good baseball they could really use a win on this day it was a historic day for Bryce Harper more on that in a second you can take it to the bank at the bank that's his 100th career home run at a place that is full every single night it's one of the best atmospheres in all of baseball joining Ryan Howard and Chase utley's the only gu to hit 100 plus at the bank Phillies with a two nothing lead Here Comes Marsh they'd actually lost seven of their last 10 Guardians clipped them last night as well and the Guardians as Kev said they woke up this morning as the best team in the American League what a job Steven vote has done not a ton of people are talking about it Kyle schwarber three run blast and the Phillies are up 7 nothing finally sort of resembling the team we saw in the first half when they got out to their record high start this is actually the Philly's first home series of the second half in the ninth now this is the big story Tyler Phillips two outs away from a shut out this guy Kev is in there because the Phillies lost their fifth starter making his third career start and he is seconds away from going complete he's got that sweeper pitch there's a lot of people really impressed by this young guy and you better believe it shut out in his third career start most guys don't get a chance to go out for the nth anymore Phillips did my body has never felt that before um you got chills you're trying not to laugh you you like want to cheer up or you want to tear up you're choked up I don't know what was going on but uh I felt like I was able to throw 100 miles per hour in that point and all I wanted to do was sit those guys back down on the bench whatever was going on was working there it is unbelievable it sounds strange to say cuz they've been so great but ask Phillies fan they could have really used today's win Harper becomes the 13th different player in MLB history to hit 100 homers in multiple parks of the previous dozen nine are in Cooper toown Harper is the only active player to do it the last Albert poolt who of course got it done in St Louis and then most recently at Angel Stadium
