this one is from the bleach report this is quarterbacks that teams must pursue in a trade right now and one of them is the Browns uh Tyler Huntley since no franchise will carry four quarterbacks in the regular season the Browns need to cut or trade one of them given that DTR started three games in his rookie season Cleveland would probably prefer to keep him around as a developmental uh quarterback behind Deshawn Watson and jamus Winston yeah yeah that's true the the one thing that I looked up when we talked about this a couple weeks ago hunley's only two years older than dtrr um and he I liked him I you know we we saw him play he started a couple games for the Ravens when when Jackson was hurt he's a problem for defenses I I I thought it was a great pickup to get him yeah it's a nice uh sleeper pick as far as a quarterback goes and I I feel like there will be some value to even though you know we can all joke about the fact that Tyler Huntley somehow made a pro bowl the fact is you know he's got some starts under his belt in the NFL nine career starts eight touchdown passes seven interceptions not great numbers but I think when you're always looking for a backup you always want an interesting ability with a quarterback and I think with Tyler Huntley 500 plus rushing yards in his career as well certainly has an ability to be a dual threat quarterback and you know the thing with Tyler Huntley is I think we all know who the one two of this brown depth chart is going to be it feels like DTR has seems like from all the reports out there that DTR has done really well on Camp that he's really continued to improve heading into year two which I always thought was going to be important that I think I said around when you get drafted around when he got drafted that he wasn't a guy that you wanted to play as a rookie Browns of course had to play him because they ultimately had no choice but certainly a guy who seems like he's earning his right to be the number three quarterback and you never know how injuries are going to stack up and play play out in a training camp across the NFL and certainly Tyler Huntley can be a commodity down the road I mean we saw Josh dos get traded last year for a fifth round pick so that it's going to be interesting how these next few weeks play out as far as the health of quarterbacks go yeah and the other thing is is it may come down to which of those two quarterbacks a team is willing to give you a higher draft pick for yeah I mean it's ultimately Asset Management I think when it comes to backup quarterbacks I mean ultimately if any team's down to their third quarterback the odds of making a playoff run like the Browns did last year are very remote obviously I think we can all agree what the Browns did last year was a very uncommon situation so just the fact if you have to go to your third quarterback your season's probably doomed so maybe it's a case where if you're somehow able to get a fourth round pick for one of those guys it's an easy decision I think for Andrew Barry
