THE BILL GOES MUCH FURTHER, INCLUDING FUNDING FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL ENROLLMENT INCREASES MEDICAID IN REQUIRING SHERIFFS TO COOPERATE WITH FEDERAL IMMIGRATION OFFICIALS AND REQUESTS TO DETAIN PEOPLE SUSPECTED OF BEING IN THE COUNTRY ILLEGALLY. THAT'S NOT JUSTICE. >> AND THAT'S NOT ADHERING TO THE VALUES OF THIS CONSTITUTION. THEIR FAILURE TO LOOK AT THAT ASPECT OF A PUBLIC SAFETY IS SOMETHING THAT MAKES EVERYBODY LESS. >> AND THE GOVERNOR JUST RELEASED A STATEMENT ABOUT THIS A FEW MINUTES AGO SAYING IN PART, QUOTE, REPUBLICANS ARE DRAINING HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF TAXPAYER DOLLARS FROM PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO GIVE IT A PRIVATE SCHOOL VOUCHERS
