Paying homage! Haider Ackermann Ladies Fall/Winter 2011-2012

hey guys welcome back to the channel today I'm going to be looking at high Daman um uh full Winter 2011 2012 uh it's like it's yeah it's pretty far um back already but um hyra Aran is uh one of my favorite designers and um I just wanted to always have a look at uh some of the stuff he's done in the past um he's as far as I know a Colombian born fashion designer and uh he's done some of his own collections in the past I don't know if he still has his own um his own brand I know that uh he has gone on to design for b um not actually sure where he uh works now um but I know uh some of the collections um around this period were really great stuff he um he was appearing in the media quite a lot he's also addressed um celebrities like Kanye West and tolda Swinson is um uh she's um featured in uh his his uh his work quite a lot um don't forget to like And subscribe and let's get into it D and moody mean I don't quite know what this is exactly but definitely adds something interesting to the uh to the design I really love this uh I'm assuming it's just the outer part of the coat lovely one thing I do really love about uh H aran's designing is um his tailoring it's very sharp very um glamorous I think in this collection he's used uh a lot of uh silks satins leather velvet it reminds me of um G with the Dragon Tattoo a little bit it's got this like um punk Chic kind of feel about it I mean I like it but the um the skirts look so tight and um difficult to move in but still the shoulder pads on that are quite like this I really like this look I'm curious if uh if the it's supposed to be freay at the bottom or whe that just came out uh because they ran out of time or something I quite like how it's sort of cut short in that part of the second or the top part of the jacket I quite like this makes it kind of has this crua DeVille kind of vibe about it along with the hairstyle also like the uh leather glove um accessory not loving this um this outfit too much though for me it's a little too white do like I do like how they've draped the the [Music] pelda I like the asymetrical part here the belt's cool also like this whole thing where he's almost taken just it almost seems like a silk scarf that is just sort of draped it's quite beautiful let's see what's going on [Music] here I like it flowy leather sort of style this looks like a uh yeah wine wine velvet skirt or sorry not skirt trousers really like the uh the pel and in the is also looking quite cool let's see what's happening here yeah love that I like how he's added the um the lapel to the dress and then done it again with the jackets sharp shoulder pads this is what I'm this is one of my favorite looks for for this collection I really love it's almost like a cow neck that's um been done here also this um this wrapping sort of Po neck kind of look is really awesome I like how it's been draped the I like that the Pear's been draped out so much like that way the contrast of the silico satin these is also really [Music] awesome although the skirt looks tremendously uncomfortable this um how can you even put it uh this like two halves of an outfit with with this sort of knitted um sweater um kind of Ensemble visually it looks very good I like this belt con I'm a fan of this here though [Music] for me yeah I know the model looks yeah too masculine like she looks like she hasn't eaten a meal for Years love this I like this color combination now the uh lael's been draped here yeah I think by the looks of things it's it looks like this is a bit of a um not so much printed but uh like a uh chevron pattern um silk silk lapel and also looks like it's a tuxedo lapel I like the a a a symmetry use here although those sleeves look very tight a little too [Music] them also you like the uh asymmetry in that outfit the boxiness this works there also this this Ensemble or this uh this piece already like like how they've used the wide belts and just simple um I I don't if it I don't know if this would necessarily be um referred to as a halter [Music] top that's so interesting like uh how the belts kind of wrapped around there if if it wasn't there yeah I don't know I mean I think the Garment would still kind of work without the the the belts taken off but it definitely adds something to it uh this one let's see all right it's okay too bony for my tast [Music] jeez I mean I like this the belt's really cool I like What's Happening Here the the use of proportions but the skirt looks like very heroin shic um yeah it just looks so uncomfortable and um I it looks kind of looks like a pack of wolves or dogs got got hold of this skirt and and tore pieces out of it [Music] but yeah the the jackets and the layering on top is cool I really like this I mean this is pretty simple I think it's just a really basic uh fairly high neck po neck might even be a dress as well and then they've got the belt to add some um some flare with the contrasting fabric [Music] textures um now here he's used a um a like oversized scarf and that uh sort of touch features a lot um in his work as far as I have seen and once again I mean it works really well especially the way he's he's got the the collar um popped like that which we've seen through throughout I like this uh envirment [Music] I really like this um color combination and and again the the um the shoulders are nice and sharp I like once again the uh how they've used the U Peak lapel layered it like that let it draped that way [Music] also like the tail that it's got I really really really really love this this piece um I like how the shape is sort of it it's got a strong um like angular shoulder High sort of polar neck and then it just comes down nicely like that with the uh uh wine shade um I think it's silk um jacket trousers and then obviously the um sort of military uh heals so lovely piece and the uh Inwood pleat also really like that I'm not I mean I know this has been a look throughout but I'm not really into how how bar their backs all you came to me this morning hand me like meat me here they got uh um the jacket basically like s tucked in um and then the once again the pop lapel pop color sorry um but uh okay I like the color combination here as well it's it's a little bit different comp compared to the others just the in The Styling which also is quite cool because from what I can tell he's often um done uh like a simple cut and then style them really beautifully it have to be a man to know how good that [Music] feels I also like how the uh got sort of gloves here it's a little tethered so it's very like um elegant and um it's got a bit of a boho feel to it um but yeah it works really beautifully it's like Punk shik that's that's how it come comes across to me at least know you in my sleep and who but you would take me in this model I mean it's a nice it's a it's a lovely outfit I really like how rich the um the fabric sort of drapes and Falls around the collar but this girl's so skinny and I mean the uh the belt looks really awkward I mean it visually it looks cool but I mean yeah her her frame so skinny kisses I you when you this looks beautiful really like the color combinations the the com uh composition very elegant line and then it's like chopped in half by the the belt and then the W wine um silk um top and then you got slightly uh gathered well not I don't necessarily know if it's gathered or if it's just sort of like pulled up to make way for the uh gloves but by way it's a very glamorous looking Style reminds me a little bit of sort of the early late 80s early 90s um uh Silhouettes from like Georg Mani kind of looks you see I'm just another snowman standing in the rain and sleep who loved you with his Frozen love so there's a cool sort of like crop top kind of thing going on there and I noticed there's also that um like a insert around the the the chest here so it's almost like a little bit of a the pel if you will his secondhand physique with all he is and all he was A Thousand Kisses Deep love love love the layering here I like the draping color combination love the belt yeah it's l nice I know you [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Applause] the the lapels are um and then here again he's used a um like a very big scarf um asymmetrically draping gives me vi of sort of a Sahara Desert sort of princess I don't know what the thinking was behind the uh the hair and makeup th kisses again you can see from the back very boxy cut um jacket and this one looks a little bit either um maybe velvet [Music] s on the [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] than I [Music] [Applause] [Music] think um yeah I quite liked it um yeah I just really like how he um the garments himself STS are fairly simple but the styling is really something else also like the color choices um this like dark kind of um wine Shades uh for me it was really beautiful um yeah I mean through the whole thing I think there were maybe like two or three looks that I wasn't particularly into my only complaint is that the models are so skinny but um yeah that's kind of generally the the the usual for that um let me know in the
