Post Debate Polling 9-14-24

hello welcome to clsb politics Sean Brisco speaking so finally got enough data that was worth doing a debate uh post debate polling uh video so here we go first things first let's talk about fundraising so she was able to raise in the fir in 24 hours after the debate $47 million that's from 600,000 donors that comes out to$ 79 donor dollar per donor the reason this is important is because there's only so much an individual can give to a campaign and uh then you're maxed out and you can't give anymore right it's called campaign Finance limits so at 79 as an average of $79 per donor klet can go back to these people two weeks from now four weeks from now and do the same thing all over again uh it's called going back to the well and uh it's what Obama did it's how he was able to raise so much money we just had freaking million donors um millions of donors so KLA is in that same place now where she's got all this huge Universe of donors all given like 25 50 bucks 25 50 and it doesn't sound like a lot unless there's 600,000 of them doing it and then all of a sudden 25 time 600,000 you know is quarter you know 25 million I mean it just it's nuts but that's how the math works and this is great news for the campaign I mean you just if no one's actually ever seen any post debate fundraising like this before and that kind of tells you how really bad Trump like I think Trump scared the crap out of everyone in America by opening his mouth so real quick speaking of fundraisers if you like to uh if you like And subscribe that'd be great also um trying to upgrade a bunch of stuff internet and my computer and a few other things so I can do this show a little bit better uh I have a pay the channel has a PayPal it's clsb politics appreciate any any contributions so let's go to our first poll so I got some comments that some of my polling wasn't easy to read so I'm just reformatting it uh but all of this comes from uh you know polling data so this is RMG research poll they had a huge sample size of 2756 it's actually one of the larger sample sizes and it spanned from just before the pole the the debate and after the debate so um it's a it's kind of a a bit of a mix but the sample size was so huge I thought it was definitely worth uh putting up here in fact if you won't see any more polling that doesn't have at least four digits as far as sample size for me for the rest of the election cycle so Harris 51 Trump 47 now yeah there's a four-point spread the the uh margin of error is 2% here uh so we're above the margin but more importantly Harris broke 50% that's really really important because that says that there's that it's now becoming a majority not just you know two people in the high 40s fighting it out what this is telling me is that there are independent voters now just sliding over because they're the difference we're all both parties are basically 4545 and there's this 10% sliver in the middle and so when you start seeing one of those different campaigns break 50 that means that you've got independence the majority of the independent starting to slide over it's it's great news so uh ipsus put out some polling this is what uh this was good uh and it's all post elction sample size 1690 the the spread is Harris plus 4 which is great uh they I think also had the other candidates that are on the ballot uh participating in this one that's why it's smaller number but still plus four it's great poll uh they did a second one one uh which I think didn't have those uh those other candidates in it and again you get we got A plus five out of this one 1405 solid sample size it's all post elction I think Harris got a solid bump out out of that debate uh Redfield and Wilton put out a poll on the 12th it was just that day which is why I'm putting in here and the sample size is almost 2,000 they got a plus Harris which is within the margin of error uh data for Progress also put out a poll all right after the debate 1283 okay size but uh Harris again had hit 50 and uh Trump was at 46 so Harris has a plus4 again good news um so where do where what's the poll of polls say what the poll of polls is basically it's all the polls weighted by S and and uh how they did it and all that jazz and they they they wait each poll appropriately and they have a you know running thing so the best Harris has ever been was 3.1 and that was a few weeks ago she's at 2.8 now uh there's a lot more polling going on there's a lot larger sample sizes so I think we're definitely zeroing in on what the real number probably is uh right now this is one that's kind of interesting hope everyone can see it I'll blow it up a little bit more here um but uh this is saying what what do people want in uh in Congress and see as how the Republicans are about to shut down the government again Jesus these guys suck um I I would imagine this number is going to go up but uh but it's plus two .2 for the Democrats which is great also it indicates as they've gone as this has gone up KLA has also gotten her margin's gotten bigger which is telling me KLA might have some coattails which will be great down ballot so Harris's favorability is at uh her she's technically the majority is unfavorable of Harris because who likes politicians but she's a plus 0.6 for unfavorable that sounds really bad until you see what the orange idiots doing at plus 9.5 so he's like what is that 17 times more unpopular than Harris not a bad place to be if you're running against this guy you're doing all right so I don't have a quote but I do have a lich there once was a man with no plan he assured us that his he assured us through his fake tan oh just you wait things will be great just like the casinos I ran I thought that was pretty funny I saw that uh so voter registration deadlines very important everybody you guys need to pay attention to these dates wherever you are a lot of people are asking me how do I check how do I check how do I check you can go to your County elections website just put in your county name name elections and that office and that should take you Google that should take you right to your County website from there they'll have some simple instructions they'll have all of your early voting dates and your registration dates and all the information you're going to need uh so definitely go check out those those the County elections and your secretary of state websites are insanely important and I actually probably if you had to ask me what are the two websites in government I go to the most when I'm running a campaign or looking up information for somebody who has got a question or whatever I'll tell you right now it's it's those two websites your County elections office and your state secretary's office insanely
