when you have obviously didn't get a chance really to play at all today do you do anything to sort of make up the tennis you missed uh will you practice more tomorrow or I have DS now so yeah today was a busy day I mean um yeah I'm sorry for her because it's bad to end a match like this after three points you know but today I have still doubl so yeah I'm gonna practice more of course did you see what what happened at that moment or we could see it on on TV monitors but you see it yeah I I was hitting my forehead and I saw that was a winner was come on and then I saw at the same time that she did something with the I don't know the fot the ankle but um I didn't understand at the beginning that she's going to retire you know um but the the Empire told me she called the physio so I was like waiting and trying to stay focused you know to stay ready because maybe that I could play in one minute or in three I don't know so but was a little bit of surprise I'm very sorry for her as I said after three points Aslam it's it's it's bad you you made a finals run at rolling arrows at Wimbledon and then you played the Olympics you know big topic this summer is like playing too much but you also like to play doubles are you a player who likes to play a lot versus like not uh you know taking time off I think until this year I I I didn't like to play Davos um but then I started with a goal to play the goal was to play the Olympic Games and then we got the medal so that's unbelievable but right now I think that DBL was really helped my game um with the serve volleys but also the return so and you know um I had the chance to to stay lot of time also with Sara which I think she helped me who she helped me a lot with the some advises some experience she she played at this level before so she I think she knows very well the the tour she knows how how to help me and yeah so I think that was it helped me so much so as you have more success obviously you're playing more matches yeah do you do you think uh you know do you think the schedule is too too long do you uh I think that it's good to have this problem to play many matches it means that you play good you know um of course uh I played a lot of matches but as I said it's better to have more matches and to be maybe a little bit more tied that have few matches so hey Jasmine what's the most important advice that Sarah has given you since she's giving you some advice and some ins what she talking um I think um I understand more the game uh speaking with her playing doubles with her she's I think very strong tactically so I I think it helped me a lot to to understand how she thinks into the court you know during the match during the doubles during the singles so I think the the the TAC T tactically part yeah um when you say that though you're talking about on a double scort how does that translate for you onto the single score we saw she had a big win today too uh I think uh with the volleys a lot um I I feel more comfortable when I'm close to the net um but also the serve it's really important in doubles um you must serve good because if you serve good she can she can voles you know so also in the singles I I think um I try to to bring the serve that I was doing in Davos because I must do in doubles in singles and yeah I think it helped me a lot also the the the return because in dabl you have so much pressure because there's one on the net you have to to see little bit if she's you know cutting the net is she's Crossing or not so uh it helped me a lot I think yeah yeah couple more I'm sorry you were laughing about finally third round here yeah finally I wait so long but it's okay is obviously when you've had the year you know you're such a different player this year there's no feeling like okay of course I'm going to go to the third round he was no I I didn't thought about that especially when I saw you you know um I was playing first round and Dru which she won here so I was like oh it's a tough first round um and it was actually and then I won the first match and they told me you play pcoa again a tough really tough second round so uh I want to keep you know with the expectation low because I think it's um it's the key to to to enter the court like a little bit more um relaxed with the more uh Serenity yeah um with peace yes and to to give my then 100% on court but not think too much or I have to play good because I'm the fifth seed I have to to to go deep in the tournament think this kind of um um this kind of think thinking I don't know how to say it's bad it's bad for me I think I don't know for others but for me it's bad at Wimbledon the fans really came to support you you became a darling of the fans and now you're being introduced to the fans of New York at the US Open what do you want them to see in you and experience in your game and in your personality I don't know I'm just just showing myself you know um I hope they enjoy um I have to say I felt the love from them uh the first day when I play andresco um I know that she won here so she had so much support as well but I think was a great match and it's nice to step on Court and uh listening at the crowd when they call your name and and the cloud the crowd it's like crazy so it's a really good uh I think um Sensation that I can I can have you know so yeah I don't know what to expect I'm just myself so I hope they like it and and after what you did at the French and at Wimbledon how are you different in terms of your confidence in your game right now uh I I don't know it's it's a little bit different because when uh I did the the final in in French Open you know was my first time going through the third round in Aslam so no sorry was my second time but was was unbelievable and uh I said to myself oh what an amazing experience you know and then I did I did it again in Wimbledon and that was another unbelievable experience because Wimbledon I think it's Wimbledon uh it's has his own I don't know the tournament it's magic I don't know it's something different and so it's it's different now I came here with two finals and trying to don't put too much pressure on myself trying to repeat myself that it's tough to go you know deep in the tournament another time but I'm going to I'm I'm here to try that but um yeah I'm just trying to give my 100% and let's see where where I can I can go in the tournament but without any any [Music] pressure jasine are you doing anything differently this US Open off the court than you did all those other years where no one know who you were have you had to adjust your you know sort of your off courtess here well not really I went for the first time I have to say in I don't know seven years that I came here to New York to the World Trade Center um yeah I said to myself this year you have to go because you know it's a really important place I think and I had I came here one week before the tournament so I had a little bit more time you know and yeah then I passed walking the Brooklyn Bridge uh for the first time as well so I said to myself you you you should go one day um there and do the tourist you know and I did it but nothing special we go always to it in Italian place um very good so nothing special yeah
