Yeah, it is, temperatures will come down in that 14 day forecast a little bit so summer might loosen its grip some. But uh, in the meantime, here we're still gonna be up around 100. Not feeling too bad out there for you right now. 81 degrees feels like it's 82 out there for you this morning. So really not a bad start. Those temperatures have dipped down into the upper seventies in some areas as well as we look around, heading out to mckinney, Wiley Plano all at 77. Coming back into the metroplex though. We are looking at those lower eighties for Grand Prairie, looking at uh 80 degree 81 in Arlington right now. And as we head up to Louisville, you're at 80 as well. So it's gonna be warm but really not too muggy out there for us here this morning. So we have gotten a break. Some drier air has moved in, but we start to heat back up a little bit more today and we will still be in the lower nineties out towards Sulfur Springs in Greenville. But coming back over to Dallas Fort Worth, you may hit 100 today, we're gonna be up around 99 or so, heading out to Denton and then we'll have the serious heat a little farther south and west today where we do have that excessive heat warning. You see Graham up over maybe around 105 or so, you see heading out toward Hamilton, Eastland Breckenridge as well, maybe up over 105, a little bit later today. So it is still going to be hot but more seasonably hot temperatures for most of North Texas and we'll have some mid level clouds pushing in uh this morning as well. These will thin out giving way to some mostly sunny skies. That ridge of high pressure for now has retreated a little bit back to the west. So that's allowed that slightly cooler, less hot air to move in. But that will change as we get into the upcoming weekend. You see those dates, some highs, upper nineties for us and we'll have well into the triple digits heading out toward the Abilene, San Angelo, Austin, San Antonio once again, 105 to 106 later today. So yes, it is gonna be very hot in those locations and that's what we do have that excessive heat west of Fort Worth and Dallas are western counties, but then heading right down the I 35 quarter, Austin and San Antonio looking at that excessive heat warning in those areas here for today. Now, as we head into the next few days though. We, we will see eventually it's gonna be a hot weekend for us, but again, seasonably so. And then as we head into next week and going into next weekend, we'll see that the area of high pressure begins to shift a lot more to our east that may open up the Gulf a little bit. We'll bring those temperatures down and maybe open up the door for a few isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms as we head toward the latter half of next week as well. And again, those temperatures will begin to come down some. Now until then, we're still looking at the temperatures and that heat index especially tomorrow, it will be quite oppressive across the area there. We'll see that uh heat index may be approaching 100 and 10 in some areas as we get into tomorrow. Here is that 14 day forecast for you 99 to 100 over the next few days right through the upcoming weekend, early next week as well. We're gonna be looking at temperatures right around 100. And then by the middle, latter half of next week, there is at least a slight chance for some showers and storms and notice those temperatures as we head toward Labor Day, they start to come down into the low and mid nineties as we get into the following weekend.
