Top 5 Breakout Players (Rutgers Football 2024)

in this video I'll be going over the top five breakout players for Ruckers football this season a lot of this will be based on the first game they played against Howard at number five we have Bo mascow the sophomore corner from Florida he is supposedly the number three cornerback right now behind longer beam and Rogers and he had a pretty nice game against Howard so expect to see him a little bit this season as a number you know in that number three corner role at number four we have Christian DRL he's a wide receiver and he's a senior so it will be his last season um he led the team in receiving last year even with not the best receiving core so this year with the addition is of Miller uh a really nice transfer player from Mammoth and Ian Strong who was a true freshman last year those guys being a little bit better will definitely help him out help boost his stats and also aan the new quarterback seems to be more accurate so he could have a really nice season at number three we have Moses Walker linebacker he's a junior from New York and he was Rucker's number one player in their 2022 recruiting class he was a fourstar player the number one player in the state of New York so very talented he had a pretty good game against Howard seemed like he was in the right spots was making some tackles so he'll be pretty important to Ruckers This season with the loss of Mohamad ter and also Tyne pal coming back from a major injury so he could have a real nice season and the only thing to watch out for for him is he did terra's ACL in Spring ball two years ago so as long as he could stay healthy he could have a really nice season for Ruckers at number two we have Samuel Brown the fth running back he's a junior from Pennsylvania it was a pretty solid three star recruit in the 2022 recruiting class for Ruckers so he was pretty talented coming out of high school and he had a decent season last year seemed like he wasn't 100% suffered a massive foot injury in 2022 but in this first game against Howard he looked the best he's been since since his freshman year so maybe he's finally got over that massive foot injury because he looked good running the ball and catching the ball yesterday with having a a receiving touchdown so the hope for him this year is to really be a solid number two behind manangi at number one we have Dariel the Jambo linebacker he's a junior from Canada and he's from the 2022 recruiting class and he was really underrated because he was he wasn't even rated so it's really cool to see a guy like this come in have the chance to play and and it looks like based on his game against Howard he's going to be playing a lot this season because racked up 14 tackles which is pretty impressive and Ruckers definitely needs needs him and Walker to really step up in that linebacker position with their injuries to Mohamad ter and Tyne Powell just coming back from a massive killy's injury so it'll be really really fun to watch him this season so hopefully hopefully he stays healthy and yeah thanks for watching guys
