to me it's like shocking it's like no this is this is that's got to be a lie people in Lloydminster are still coming to grips with what happened at this home where police say three men were murdered emry Penner has lived beside the family for years they're actually pretty nice people to me they never conflict anything about me and my family they're always they're like brother to me right RCMP originally responded to a wellness check around 6:00 p.m. Wednesday evening and when they arrived they found the three dead inside the home since that point there has been a heavy police presence in the area leaving neighbors with questions I facebooked the uh the owner of that house to see if he was okay and obviously I never got a response from that person although evidence markers could be seen in the yard and officers were searching with metal detectors RCMP would not confirm any details on the victims only sharing minimal information at this point we believe this is a target incident that somebody came to this location or some peoples came to this location specifically Floyd Minster RCMP inspector Brian Nichols says he hasn't seen something like this in his time in the Border City but assures there is no threat to Public Safety the suspect or suspects are still at large so I do understand the concern by the community but this is not a random incident that we believe at this time Lloydminster mayor Gerald Alber says crimes like these have a big impact on community members it's felt in the community of course and certainly when a a crime like this occurs there's concern uh I can reassure people as it's been said this doesn't happen every day they know that but it is concerning for now Penner Waits For more information as he Mourns the three he considered family it's a scary situation Jasmine King Global News Lloyd Minster
