[Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] this is Sonic keys with e web we are at the Red Carpet actually the black carpet for the Killer games La Premiere starring so many of your favorite stars from Dave Batista to Terry Cruz check it out [Music] the director of the Killer game now what Drew you to the story of a man facing his well a hit man facing his mortality so what really drew me to the story was the love story The Script because it's Unique it's typic not typical in the genre that I typically working in the action genre to have like a crossover action meets Love Story and there's a lot of twists and turns so that's what what that's what called me [Music] now you were in the movie you were diagnosed with a terminal illness that caused you to want to have a hit on your own life because you loved maze so much that you didn't want her to deal with the sickness what did you have to tap into to be that vulnerable um tap into 50 years of baggage that I'm carrying around with me and probably need massive therapy for that's it really just kind of really just uh I don't know put myself in a shoes and think about you you think about falling in love for the first time think about how good that felt how good it made you feel it's like you're on cloud night especially you have never experienced anything like that and to know that you are going to lose this and there's no there's no enemy that you can fight there's nothing you can do but this is all gone and you can't even bring to yourself to tell the woman that You' fallen in love with I mean what do you do so everyone's talking about K games being an action-packed film but it's still a romcom from the trail that I've seen and you two have had an amazing beautiful relationship throughout the years what keeps you guys going I want to hear from you but I also want to hear from the beautiful Rebecca I'm going to let her go first what keeps us going um we liked each other as friends before we dated and so even when he's not being romantic or he's not you know doing all that he's still my best friend that's why I think um 35 years July we've celebrated 35 and um every time I roll over and look at him I think wow we've been through a lot together and I still like you well I I have to add to what she just said because again she is my best friend but none of this means anything without her that's how you know you know what I mean like to be if I was here alone I wouldn't enjoy it I I'm always like where is she what what is she doing what is she thinking what she what is her opinion about this where you know again where I and she begins and vice versa it's literally 35 years of of true intimacy and it's like we're intertwined so we are here with the author Jay Bon Singa now the twist The Twist pronounced it thank you thank you the trailer by itself action upon action upon action like nonstop and just to find out that it was a misdiagnosis but they still want to kill him why did you only got like one person on his side and that's Maisy the woman he's in love with and she's not really happy about what he does so why did you want a story where the significant other did not know what he did I think I don't know for sure like cuz sometimes when you're writing it's just it's almost automatic writing it comes out of your imagination and you can't control it but I think in that case and it's a great question it's a metaphor for Secrets people keep secrets from each other even people who really love each other and he and Joe was a little guilty about what he did and he really felt hard for for Maisy so he really didn't want her to know but he had to tell her cuz he didn't want her to get killed so what are you looking forward to the most from the Killer game oo the action come on man you saw the trailer it's crazy the action is amazing I'm excited to see it yeah everybody [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music]
