hello there welcome to your latest broadcast from the Met Office it's turning increasingly unsettled from the south as low pressure takes charge of our weather yet again weather systems over the next 24 hours will bring some heavy rain and storms across England and Wales in particular and then next week the wind switch to more of a norly direction and temperatures will drop away falling below average for the time of year by the time we get to Wednesday through this evening and overnight outbreaks of heavy rain starting to push North W across England and Wales some rumbles of Thunder mixed in there some heavy downpours developing there could be some tricky traveling conditions as we head through the evening and overnight into Sunday morning could be some localized flooding further north drier across Northern irland and Scotland some low clouds still affecting Northern and eastern coast giving some drizzle in places too temperatures generally remaining on the muggy side particularly for England and Wales 15 16 locally 17 cels to start Sunday morning morning an unsettled start to the day outbreaks of heavy rain pushing North and Westward some local disruption is possible metalis warning out right through the day on Sunday some brighter Skies developing across Central and Eastern parts of England into the afternoon but this could trigger some heavy showers and thunderstorms generally drier for Northern Ireland northern and western parts of Scotland but largely cloudy here the winds coming in from the north here so cooler than the past couple of days temperatures 18 to 21 possibly locally 22 cels and similar values across England and Wales but under the cloud and heavy rain it will feel cooler than this this area of low pressure continues to give outbreaks of heavy rain also perhaps affecting Southern parts of Scotland Eastern Scotland for a time before starting to pull away Sunday night and generally it becomes drier from the West as we head towards Monday morning temperatures overnight with the norly breeze starting to set in a little lower compared to what we saw over the weekend so outbreaks of rain across Central and Eastern parts of England Southern Scotland first thing this slowly starts to ease and push its way eastwards as we go through Monday allowing drier and brighter weather to move in from the West with the next weather system though bringing cloud and some patchy rain into Northern Ireland western parts of Scotland later in the day the winds generally coming from a northwesterly Direction so temperatures actually back to where they should be for the time of year instead of the mid-20s in the sunshine generally the mid teens in the north to near 20 C in the Southeast so under the cloud it will feel cooler compared to what we saw the weekend in the short term it is all about the heavy rain and thunderstorms pushing up over parts of England and Wales over the next 24 hours or so so do stay tuned to the forecast see you again soon
