Steelers QB John Rhys Plumlee Explains Why He Signed with Pittsburgh after Draft

other other places yeah they want you to come and do some different things be in the quarterback room do some different stuff but um Pittsburgh believed me as a quarterback that's part of the reason one you balance baseball le football you think the benefit going to be to be able to fully 100% focus on yeah I think it's just to put all my focus uh in one single thing and so um excited to to to to to keep know they have a home R say that I'm exced I don't know Russ I've heard Russ and Justin can really swing a bat so we'll see but excited about that excited say have you had any interaction with Russ or Justin or what does it mean to maybe be a part of a quarterback room that has guys at that caliber uh not yet haven't got to talk to them yet but looking forward to beeting those guys and learning from them and working working with them um so uh what does it mean I'm I'm super excited right there are some guys that I've looked up to coming up playing football so I'm super excited about the opportunity was there a lot of other interest in you coming out as undrafted what made you ultimately decide this uh yeah I had a lot of a lot of teams calling but I felt like Pittsburgh was the right spot and um I felt like they believed in me and it seemed like a great fit for me as well so I'm excited to be here what gets you he what are the qualities that you know when they watching you on tape and offly the care everything what do you what do you think kind of Dre Drew you guys together uh you're going to have to ask them right uh but I know that the the things that um uh you think about when you think about the Steelers right the toughness the the hard no football right um the the the winning mentality that Steelers have that's one of the things that kind of that drove me here right
