RTR Frankie from perisburg Ohio I need some off the radar players that could have a big impact on this season that's good that's good because I just so happen to have a piece of paper in front of me I wrote down four of them earlier today Nick scon at Texas A&M is one of them Nick scouton could have a really really big impact year remember the way uh Frankie you're a b fan remember the way you guys used to talk about Will Anderson you talked about Dallas Turner coming into last season like this well that's Nick scon out at to saying him I'm not saying he's a shot forsh shot robot copy and paste of those two players but he could have that kind of impact this season week one they play Notre Dame they play a playoff Contender week one and Notre Dame just lost their left tackle for the season so they've had to reshuffle on the offensive line they were already losing two tackles to the NFL now they lost one that was going to be a replacement so Nick scon my point is could flash early and could get some early consider ation be on a lot of Radars uh he is he is a very good player he was at Purdue last year by the way he had 50 tackles 10 sacks last year he was second Team all big 10 I think he could have a huge year I think at NC State another transfer here Grayson McCall at quarterback could be one of the most important players in that conference because the defense could regress a little bit there but the tradeoff is offensively they could be more than they've been in the last several years ncate st's just kind of been an are what they are operation offensively well McCall's over there got a ton of experience um offensive line should be good there wide receiver core should be good probably a little underrated what does he have to give them he doesn't have to be a Heisman Contender all he's got to do is give them that added bump in the inevitable handful of onep possession games they're going to find themselves in this year and if he does that there's a reason at FanDuel when you're looking at odds you don't have to go too far down in the ACC to find NC State so I would Circle him I would look at Gavin Sawchuk the running back at Oklahoma not a lot of people are talking about that position they're talking about offensive line questions they're talking about Jackson Arnold is he going to get rid of the turnover issue they're talking about like Burks transferring in at wide receiver and meanwhile Gavin Sawchuk could be one of the most important offensive pieces they have he could be one of the most important pieces on their team think about the style of play at Oklahoma this year they're going to be a defensive oriented team so they're going to be like a rich man's Iowa and that they'll play solid defense offense can do things but the style of play that will be predicated off of you know the overall team philosophy will heavily rely on that 511 200lb red shirt sophomore there number seven running back in the 2022 cycle he was honorable uh all Big 12 last year so 744 rushing yards last last year nine rushing touchdowns last year I think he's a thousand plus yard kind of guy this year and Tyler Warren Tyler Warren might I go up to State College and throw Penn State's tight end there he's 66 257 he was third Team all big 10 for last year had 422 receiving yards last year if Andy colon Nicki's offense that he brings in from Kansas is anything like it was at Kansas that guy is going to double his production this year man not double his production that's a lot 800 plus yards for a tight end that's a lot he could see a substantial increase in his looks and he could see a substantial increase especially in the red zone at how much they target him and how much production he can put on the board so I'd go scouton I'd go McCall I'd go Sawchuk I'd go Tyler Warren I hope that's enough that's that's four players I think are under they're not under the radar for their fan bases I think they're under the radar nationally [Music]
