Well, JD Vance is defending former President Donald Trump. He's facing backlash for an incident at the Arlington National Cemetery. As A B C's Perry Russell reports. New polling shows that Vice President Kamala Harris is caught up in some key battleground states. What's being called an incident in Arlington National Cemetery comes down to whether or not the Trump campaign had permission to have a photographer in a section of the cemetery. There is verifiable evidence that the campaign was allowed to have a photographer there on Monday. Trump's Tik Tok account posted video of him visiting the grave of a soldier killed during the US withdrawal from Afghanistan federal law, its political campaign or election related activities within army national military cemeteries. N PR reports. Trump campaign officials were asked not to take pictures or videos in that section of the cemetery which allegedly led to a verbal and physical altercation with the cemetery employee. Some families of soldiers buried at the cemetery say they allow Trump to photograph the event. One family says they did not. The Harris campaign calls the incident pretty sad. Harris herself has not commented on what happened that is slamming her anyway and she wants to yell at Donald Trump because he showed up. She can, she can go to hell. A new poll finds. Harris has closed the gap with Trump in the Sun Belt swing states. It shows Trump leading Harris in North Carolina, but Harris has jumped ahead in Arizona, Nevada and Georgia. The gaps are within the margin of error in each state. Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz on a bus tour in rural Georgia, stopping at a restaurant in Savannah and meeting with the high school band. So proud, another busy day for both candidates. Trump will talk about the economy in Michigan and then have a town hall in Wisconsin. Harris has a rally in Georgia, Perry Russell ABC News, Washington.
