and we're back guys welcome to the fastest minute in tennis I'm your host good energy this video is brought to you via the doctorine of fair use the fair dealing and we're also covered under the Digital Millennium act thank you guys for all the love and support and we're back US Open the conclusion of round number two and potapova went wild she takes out Lev chenko ladies and gentlemen backed by winning 74% of her first serves and she forced her into 23 unforced errors and potapova headed into round three congratulations what about elizab beta she came out guns blazing against Anastasia pav Chava it looked like she would win this match she won the first set she played well but what did I say guys the power of Anastasia from that backhand side she just dictated the pace in the second and third set the second set was a blowout the third set just as bad she won 69% of her first surge Four Aces eight double Falls but listen guys 52 unforced errors how did elizabeta lose this match she had a fraction of the unforced errors that nsia had but it came down to the power ladies and gentlemen I do feel elizabeta is going to kick herself because pav chova she gave elizabeta several opportunities to catch up and win this match ouch the score doesn't really reflect how close the match was but what about Devil's action Bron zetti and lud Miller they came out guns blazing taking the first set over sakova golden career double slam winner with her new partner Taylor Townsen could we add that title to her name as well possibly she's going to have to do something in the Olympics though but they would come back win the second set and yes guys the third set as well got really ugly as the ladies got it done by winning 74% of the first seres to only 57% of the first serves from bronzetti and lude Miller what about Alicia Park AP in the building playing mixed doubles and listen guys the aces were firing on all cylinders Aaron Ru Cliffe she didn't know what to do just get out the way because Alicia Parks is in the building back to Center Court Arthur Ash two-time US Open Champion four-time Grand Slam Champion Naomi Osaka came out with a beautiful outfit guys the crowd was cheering her on now listen mukava loved I've said this time and time again she's one of my favorite players the headband gang there's only two players on tour I give that Air Jordan nickname to one is Koko the other is right there mukava she's amazing ladies and Gentlemen The Way She Moves just insane footwork right but Osaka let's talk about her because I feel it's what she's not doing versus what her opponents are doing right she's getting a lot of criticism and look PSA a message to everyone that comes to the channel listen guys and I'm going to take take a deep breath here because I really don't want to address the haters but I guess sometimes you just have to listen this is for entertainment this is a tennis news channel you should come here just looking to figure out what happened in the match you know get a little bit of entertaining a little bit of entertainment rund down on the matches the scores with a little twist of my opinion you shouldn't come here so upset at a player that you're saying hateful and hurtful things about them it's just a game at the end of the day and the amount of hate that Osaka receives I don't understand where it comes from she's the sweetest woman on tour all she does is say nice things to people why would someone you know why would people go on the internet to say bad things about her and listen guys this Channel's too small for just the hate okay it's okay to criticize a player but when you're saying hateful things about them what is you have to question what is going on in your life because it's just a game it's not that serious you don't know these people to be hating them you know now Osaka I don't want to say she had a bad match I mean she had six Aces I think the double faults hurt her she won 74% of her first serve the second serve was the key losing 58% of her second Serge Muka won 77% of her first Serge and 58% of her second but she did Force Osaka into a lot of unforced Errors 15 winners to 24 that's a big difference but 13 unforced errors to 21 and I think the key was this I think mova played great situational tennis right she would literally go down the line with a 109 mph serve with good placement that Osaka couldn't get into she jammed her body but she would even go out wide switching up the speed 111 milph just forcing Osaka into a deep forehand when she would return the forehand Muka was right at the net waiting to hit a nice drop shot I mean I feel that mukava she played good situational tennis she took away Osaka strengths it's just simple as that she beat her at the net if you watch the match mova beat Osaka at the net it's as simple as that she took away her strengths returning deep forehand coming forward putting away short balls that was really the game plan on every service game beating Osaka at the net it's a simp that's all Muka did that's all he did while Osaka slipped up on the double fall she had the second set one she was up the break 42 in the tie break and the double faults rear their ugly head so I don't think it's necessarily what oaka didn't do I think we have to give credit to uh karolina for just executing the perfect strategy and playing her game I felt Osaka I really felt she needed to serve big in this match like I said in the pre-match uh video she needed double digit Aces she really did I mean that's really the lift she probably needed in that second tie break I think if it goes three the crowd's going to pick Osaka up and she probably wins because midc set it seemed like mukava her energy started to drop remember Osaka had the opportunity to serve out the second set she broke Muka in the ninth service game could not close it out in the 10th and that gave mukava her second win you can't give a good player like Muk up that second burst of energy Osaka was up 45 in the 10th service game in the second set she had two set points matter of fact I think she was up 40 love she had three set points and couldn't close them out and she ends up losing this match she's going to kick herself because much like Koko we're seeing Osaka beat herself look at the match with igus fiant she had the match he had the opportunity to serve the match out so we're seeing a lot of losses between Osaka and Koko and I don't want to bring Koko in this conversation but we're seeing a lot of losses between the two uh where they're just not serving out matches but of course Co she's in in my personal opinion I think she's in better form because she she hasn't had the time off than Osaka you know queenin had the best she just had baby her not for her not ready she just had baby I'm queenin everyone remember queenin said that call me queenin listen guys um I do she just had baby queenin was so classy when she beat Osaka she said look she just had a baby her form's not ready she's not ready I do think what I said in the pre-match video is true the game is evolving so fast you cannot take a year off you can't take six months off you can't take two and a half years off in a fouryear span and come back and be on your level it's gonna I think she's going to I think she's probably going to need she's going to need a really really solid offseason because remember she had the baby she didn't have a true offseason so I think she needs a true offseason to come back and start the Australian Open leg of the tour the proper way and I think she'll be fine you know I think she'll be fine but she has to have a huge start to Australia and I think um that full offseason training late November December that's all she needs and Osaka will be back but again she's she's headed to China and Japan uh she can close this season out strong pick up some more points positioned herself better next year so she doesn't have to qualify that will also take a you know less pressure and stress off of her but nonetheless it's about karolina did congratulations she's an amazing talent she moves through to the next round and what about W guys W and Renada arizola from Mexico this was a good match here now W had five double faults but she would win 68% of her first serves ranada struggled on the first serve losing about 54% of those ranada did have her opportunities to break Caroline she had seven opportunities only converted on two while W was five for nine on breakpoint opportunities if you watch rata play she's a really good shot maker I think she really matched wse in a lot of these exchanges but wse really played simple tennis she did not try to do too much she literally put the match on Bernard's racket she let her just beat herself with the unforced errors and that's really what w did watching this this was a very simple tennis match in terms of strategy for w so congratulations for w but let's take a look at tomorrow's predictions this is the first half of the predictions stay tuned for the second half that's videos coming up next we we're going to start things off with sabalenka and I Catarina both ladies from Russia I Catarina look she has a fast ball that can match Sabal Linka but the problem is I just think sabala's wide serve is going to lead to a lot of mistakes under Katarina's racket so if there is someone that can beat sabinka it's going to be Katarina yes it will be if she's going to be eliminated it's probably going to happen here unless Madison Keys can play well we'll see what happens but I like sabinka to get passy Katarina I like keys to beat Mertens as well I say it all the time Mertens is going to make it to the round of 32 in any slam but this is where she struggles against the players with power she has bulked up a bit in the recent years but I think Madison Keys is going to be too much for Lisa Mertens I like Madison Keys to get the victory there pton Sterns had a great win against the defensive Powerhouse Dash Aina but Donna veic does what Donna vage does and I think she'll do the same here fast ball this reminds me of the match between elizabeta and pavi chinova it's going to be a very similar match I like veage to come through that and Emma Navaro and Marta kashuk Emma played lights out tennis against aansa ruse Marto looked good as well but this is a matchup here where I do think Emma's the more technical player but the problem is Styles make fights if you're a technical boxer and you're playing against someone that's fast and wild it's just not going to work Marta is not going to sit back in the Baseline and play tennis with Emma she's going to get her on the Move she's going to help her make mistakes and therefore I think both ladies will hold I'll take the first at over eight and a half those are the picks guys enjoy the video this has been the fastest minute in tennis we'll be right back guys
