about how her 20 rebounds are impressive 25 field goal is crazy I guess they talking about the shooting percentage here and keep grabbing your missed shots you only have your job because you're tall dang Asia missed 20 shots and still had a better field goal percentage how you're right missing open layups and shooting 30% as a post player is hard to do four for 16 every night now let's let's take a look man so this is what I was talking about in my other video right this is late in the game fourth quarter and I mean chucking them she was chucking them man now it's these type of moments that people use to discredit her great rebounding skills she's a phenomenal rebounder her hustle is crazy but when you when you're doing something like this people aren't going to take you serious now it is a hard thing to do that you know she had what three four players around her and she was still now she has the best position like you got to understand when you right there that one was a tougher one but when you right under the basket and the ball Falls right in front of you you you have the best position to get the rebound after you miss but nonetheless that takes a lot of energy to do you feel me to jump up and down and keep doing it and keep going especially in the fourth quarter I know her legs are gone by now but for her to have that engine and to still be able to jump and grab the board it's still impressive but it's just not beautiful for basketball and I think that's what makes people discredit her she don't think to pass it out you see what I'm saying like for instance okay she going up boom fake okay that's I'm fine with that one too boom okay now when you get this one that's the third one you have Michaela out here begging for the ball she was already begging for it off your first one she ran she even ran to the side to make sure she saw her just a tad bit more she could have passed it out right here here you see what I'm saying phenomenal rebounding skills phenomenal I give it to her every time but the problem is it's losing basketball when you have this many players around you and then you try to go back up it's a low percentage shot I saw some people saying like man the coach always told me if I grab a rebound in this area go back up with it that is true okay that is true but look where she retrieved this rebound she was way back here now right here understandable go back up with it see if you can get a foul cool but back here with three people in front of you and a fourth one and you have somebody wide open right in your vision you got to give that one up then you have somebody up here I get it she's right here so that's not really a great pass right here is wide open though basketball IQ is to not pass it out if she's under the basket basketball IQ is for one of her teammates to meet her there why would she pass it out risking a turnover um as you can see right here that that's not risking a turnover now under the under the basket 100% but right here no she can just get that up even though it's close you're highly defended that's a low percentage shot right here is a higher percentage shot than this after missing a billion bunnies you'd be better off passing the rock this rebound was after after her third Miss and surrounded by three players at that point should kick it out yeah he he just pointed out the same thing you have a clear passing Lane she's wide open and mind you uh Michaela was shooting at a high clip she is right underneath the basket man no she's not this is not right underneath the basket these are the same people who will say yeah you need to keep running the offense through Angel re that's how they're going to win that's not how they're going to win they need to form the offens round inuries she can get you your second chance buckets for sure but that don't mean the offense need to go through her and yet missed almost everything Asia was locking her up better thing would be to try to kick it out after the initial few misses but appreciate the hustle she didn't give up on the play yeah the hustle is there 100% I agree okay she has a high motor maybe a motor better than the majority in the leag when it comes to rebounding the ball and getting the 50/50 ball keep going up and she keep going up and she keep going up I think the coach need to just teach her like look if you get one of those rebounds and you're a little further away from the basket let's try to find somebody at the perimeter you know let's let's pass it out let's reset it because you're getting all the rebounds and you don't score that's a problem right uh let's say she didn't get the foul she got those four rebounds and didn't get the foul now the team taking it the other way what good was all those rebounds you see what I'm saying she needs to find a way to get more value out of her rebounds they can win more games if if she simply like if she missed two of them grab it and then let the offense reset who knows what happened commentator was like work ethic at his finest I'm like B she can't even hit a layup but hey the work ethic is there I can give her that name one coach wants their big to kick the ball back out two feet from the basket y'all be saying anything like I said under the basket I get it but she was a little further out and you can clearly see your teammate in a clear pass like Easy Pass wide open three sometimes you got to kick that ball out man I'm sorry great point I was only seeing her multiple failed attempts to basket the ball interesting to rewatch seeing her teammates standing wide open and also not helping seems like they know she will hog the ball and see that's not winning that's not winning basketball man that's not winning basketball that's why I say at some point at least after your second try reset the offense even if she feel like that's a good look let's try to get a even better look that's that's the key trade up a good look for a great look better question is how do you go 0 for four shooting from one feet away glorifying rebounds while ignoring the inefficiency of sloppy shooting is mindboggling laugh emojis she's young maybe a more mature ball player would think to do that that's what I'm saying give her time she is a rookie but the coach need to be working on teaching her the game like that don't teach her to just keep chucking them
