let's talk about how things are different between last year and now this year with your new head coach Jackson Smith and jigo what what's your what's your opinion on that I mean things are things are totally different you know just having the Great Peak Carol you know everything and to now Mike McDonald I mean everything is different um you know um both defensive minding coaches but you know coach Mike McDonald's been um defensive coordinator for about some years years now and uh um really runs that you know side of the ball and then also having uh coach Ryan grab um joining us um just you know you seen the Washington offense just spreading it spreading it around um you know a lot of deep shots and you know just just really playing offense on offense you know so how I guess what will you allow or reveal that's different offensively I would say um I would say you know you know our main thing is you know three wide receivers uh three wide receivers out there and um you know just having answers for all coverages honestly is what I think you know you know our mindset is um just going down um beating man a man you know uh Zone coverage you know sitting in the hole um nothing crazy you know uh just you know keeping football real simple and just you know having us you know do what we do and how about you now coming into this season season how are you different than than last oh I mean uh you know had a feel like I had a you know good off season you know coming in bigger faster stronger you know was my main uh Focus point and then you know just having a new OC you know I feel like um you know everybody's like just starting you know the same is on the same page and you know we can just grow together you know efficiently you know just about you know what we're getting taught and going out there on the field so you know feel caught up I feel you know like I'm right next to everybody and you know have the chance and opportunity to make plays do you have do you feel the game slower for you a little bit right now oh yeah most definitely you know first year rookie year getting thrown out there you know there's a lot you know you're thinking about but now you know late and later on the season I felt you know very much more comfortable um just slowing the game down and you know understanding coverages and understanding my role um and uh you know coming into this year you know just to be able to have that and have tlock and DK you know and you know my personal experience out there from last year has been great so what what uh so what what does as you mentioned DK and and locket how did they assist you in getting you up to speed and now having things slow down for you and so now you can really turn it on in this year I mean for for me I mean I'm I'm a very much a visual learner so you know I can you know just hearing them and how they speak and you know the questions that they ask you know I'm able to you know put it in my memory bank and go out there and you know really just first watch them and then you know do it myself and then you know just being there being um you know a big bro you know to me and you know answering questions any questions that I need uh Tyler Tyler lock has been great for me um you know obviously you know the career that he's had and a great one and you know anytime you know anytime he talks you know I'm all ears you know same with DK catch the rich eyes and show every single day on the Roku Channel 12:00 to 3 Eastern for free
