do yeah it's it's it's who he is um he's been that way all year just efficient and he doesn't quit doesn't I think that's a couple starts now remember the one in Chicago where he went 30 pitches and then ended up going six and I feel like there was another one mixed in there where um so it's not the first time he's done it but Ben justop doesn't stop competing you he doesn't let anything Shake him and it's it's been really nice to see go yeah I think you know the competitiveness and the confidence that he takes the mound with every time um we've talked about all year his stuff maybe isn't the best in our rotation but he knows how to use it and he goes right after hitters and he has really good stuff um that he can use it's easy to say that two out double by yeah I think answering in the first inning we we have not scored in the first inning in quite some time so I think it might have been Quan's Homer in Minnesota was the last time so uh to answer back right away in the first I think released the pressure valve and then Quan's double really just opened it up and then big Christmas you know that was beautiful oh how exciting is it for you to see consist he's he's earning it you know we've played him a lot um gave him the day yesterday and he he's earning more playing time he's he's swinging the bat well his bats been great his defense has been great um really happy with the way John Kenzie's been playing what's it feel like just to be involved in a game where you could take a deep breath I don't know it's been a while um it just it it it was a fun night all around um the pitching was great the offense was great it was fun to put up some crooked numbers and then keep going and I think it just felt the whole Dugout the whole Clubhouse just again we've said stay the course stay the course it's going to change it's going to turn and yeah it's just one night we know we still have to keep grinding keep coming back tomorrow but it was a really fun night can be particular about the clss I know for our broadcast what is it about that those moments where a guy takes another guy and then I'm guessing we're gonna have a bad order placed tonight if there hasn't been already but uh no it's you know baseball players will try things um they'll do whatever it takes and you know for Josh it it's been a tough tough week for him and you know but this guy's one of the elite hitters in our game I say it every night and that's why we believe in him and who he is as a as a person as a teammate a competitor but to go grab Quan's bat and then do that it's it's comedy it's it's fun and that's what makes this game beautiful players like yeah I try not to pay attention to what goes on in our Dugout because get distracted
