Jen Tran reached an unexpected conclusion the day of on the season 21 finale of ABC's The Bachelorette Jen and her choice Devon got engaged in Hawaii after Jen proposed she also had a ring for him but during the after the final Rose ceremony TR said that after leaving Hawaii he started pulling away according to Jen broke off the engagement in a 15minute phone call sometime in August as the season was airing he makes Bold proclamations of love and then suddenly the next day it's like nothing happened and he denies ever being in love Jen said Devon refused to go to coup's counseling and didn't want to fight for the relationship anymore meanwhile Devon explains his side of the story even so everything he feels for her is real but he had many doubts during their two-month engagement and insists he was transparent about those feelings
