Why These Young Voters are Voting Against Donald Trump... Yes, it's Stupid

this clip of these young women um I don't know where the entire interview is I haven't watched the entire interview um and this was shared on my Twitter from Natalie Winters I don't know who this is but uh they popped up anyway so we're going to watch this and as like as I said in the intro she correctly points out actual brain rot so these young women are going to tell you briefly what they think about Camala Harris and what they think about uh Donald Trump what comes to mind when you think of Donald Trump I would say unqualified unprepared I would say ignorant highly influential but disingenuous selfish and arrogant what word or words come to mind when you think of KLA Harris All positives has a lot of power in her voice I would say hope I would say strong I would say eloquent she's been very persuasive and I think persuaded me to vote for her numbing what does that mean her Administration what she would serve towards American politics would be like another four years of kind of stagnant um or very small progress if any I'm curious to hear from those who said you're voting for kamla Harris is it a vote for for Harris or more against Trump Olivia it's a little bit of both for me I don't want to see another Trump presidency January 6 just seeing that play out I was in a history class when it happened um we watched it on C span on TV that really made me think I don't ever want our country to go down this road Haiti is it a vote for or vote against someone in all honesty I would say that it's more so against Trump everything that he stands for is really the complete opposite of what I stand for my you know believe it or not um if if these people actually sat and looked at Trump's policies um if you're too far gone left of course even policy you're going to disagree with Trump um it's not just the TDS but many of these people if they actually looked at Trump's policies would probably be like oh actually yeah I I do agree with that most of them don't know what his policies are they just see Trump bad from the mainstream media and they think that they hate him I have family members who are who are in that um you know that TDS spiral where and I've even gone and and explained to them some of his policy positions and they agree with those policy positions but they'll say well I just don't like Trump I'm like well then you shouldn't vote vote I think is for kamla Harris Harris that said that she would sign some bills that are really important to me reinstate roie Wade I want to see that bill what issues are most important important to each of you in this election the jeopardized specifically with critical race Theory I'm worried that if education's taken out of schools history will just repeat itself when it comes to immigration final so you want critical race Theory taught in schools is that how I'm going to understand that because to me jeopardized is teaching critical race Theory not the lack of it so um you know that to me is not education Trump has any of the critical theories being taught um you know in in school if you want to take those classes when you go to college fine I I don't see any issue with that uh you want to pay for that you pay for it but public education should not be serving to push um specific views of the world and that's what critical theories do they they teach people to look at the world through a particular lens whether it's critical race Theory or whether it's um queer Theory or feminist Theory it's pushing people into looking at the world through that lens say okay we look at the world through a lens of everything is racialized that is not education in my opinion okay that's pushing people into a particular ideology public education ta which is taxpayer funded should be solely there to educate on academic subjects right like you know learning how to read and write is good um mathematics science things like this which by the way our schools are are failing at for the most part you know anyway but obviously shown alarming behaviors when it comes to immigrants and non documented people and at the end of day I'm a product of of all of that yeah um Donald Trump for just for the record guys Donald Trump doesn't hate immigrants okay um what he said is in fact his wife is an immigrant I'm pretty sure uh what he said is and what is the the normal position I would say the reasonable position is that people should come over here correctly all right my grandmother I'm a product of immigr right my grandmother's an immigrant my Stepmother's an immigrant uh from two different countries uh grandmother's from Germany Stepmother's from the Philippines and they both came over here the right way and guess what they also believe that you should not be here if you come over here illegally they're both immigrants and they say no you got to go through the process and do it properly don't come over here illegally that's it okay nobody out nobody hates immigrants I mean I'm sure there are people that hate immigrants but the point is is it's not an issue of disliking or hating immigrants it's an issue of if you're going to allow for immigration then it needs to be done correctly these people need to assimilate into the host culture um they need to uh they need to come in here and not you know commit crimes you know Etc so do it the right way that's it as somebody who's interested in international relations the biggest issue for me is um the current genocide going on in pestine the main thing on my mind is abortion right this right is just so vital to you know being able to defend our autonomy I'm well then vote in your state uh elections to vote people into office who who who have similar values to you um as far as her earlier talking about roie Wade I don't understand why Congress some magically somehow you know passing some bill for oie Wade wouldn't just be overturned Anyway by the Supreme Court again a product of initro fertilization if it weren't for IVF then I wouldn't be here right now so that's an issue that's very important to me as well Trump just said he wanted to do taxpayer IVF taxpayer funded IVF well do you feel like your peer group is more engaged in this election with social media like Tik Tok it's definitely helped a lot with the campaign in what way he I had to bring this up so Charlie XCX this album brat and so whenever she the day that Biden had dropped out she tweeted KLA is brat I think at that point all these memes started coming out you have seen this a little bit brat versus what is it called Demir or something like that I have no idea what that is that really like influenced young voters and social media's kind of helped push that I think that is going to be a very big benefit to her in terms of young voters because a lot of us have a very very positive perception of kamla Harris based off of a lot of videos that we've seen and this kind of sens um the way that she's been sensationalized through social media what would I actually think that girl somewhat intelligent the rest of them it's it's normal Academia nonsense you know throw some some what seem like big words out there um but there's not much of substance really um so it's not surprising um but anyway yeah that's pretty much it so I guess you can go watch the full interview if you'd like on oh MSNBC there you go um but yeah so like I said as she correctly points out actual brain rot um these people don't know what they're talking about really and like most people like most voters don't know what they're talking about um again it's it's crazy if you you know if you actually explain to people some people who dislike Trump Trump's policy positions you know a lot of them do they're like oh yeah I agree with that
