[Music] my name is Raylan teen and I'm the director of digital and social media for the New York Jets it really comes down to storytelling so you really want to understand these people as a man off the field what their interests are what their hobbies but then also what makes them great on the field so we try and find a nice balance between football storytelling and personal storytelling and just let the fans who we know already love the Jets and want to consume any content about the Jets make them feel closer to these players that they you know they come on a Sunday and they might be 2,000 feet away screaming the guy's name well we want to make them feel like they actually know them on a deeper level internally at the Jets and I think around the sports world Instagram is obviously a huge focus and it's a very small feature but even just being able to do Instagram galleries allows us to showcase our amazing photography we have a dynamic staff photographer and he'll go out to practice shoot 300 shots and if you were asking me a year ago we have to pick one or two of the best shots to do in separate post now we can sort of tell a story you know we also recently invested in snapchat spectacles and are having a lot of fun with that you know when you're putting those on the guy who's running across the field with an American flag as part of a pregame ceremony and you get to see that man or woman's perspective it gives the fans a unique angle I think that's what social media is all about bring fans into something that they don't normally see in their day-to-day lives [Music]
