kinds of rankings of [ __ ] because it don't make a difference [ __ ] I say I see CVS is still under your skin I'm sick agree with me earlier when I said the power rankings really don't matter till week four anyways because that's Everything Changes the first three weeks it's kind of everybody's in flux because they're still getting in game shape all right we got a few people in the chat already before we get to our first subject we got FR and hey JB we got rxj saying hey JB and Friends hey Brent James R say all sick as hell mostly just here to drop a like and maybe listen for a while feel because I have watched the Chiefs flounder in in the beginning of a season and I watched the Ravens come out hot at the beginning of the season they flounder midy year is where they flounder somewhere between week seven and week 11 that's when you see the Ravens start to waver a little bit and lose a couple games whereas you see the Chiefs that one year they started one and five well this be the first year since Mahomes has been there they don't don't make the playoffs and the next thing you know boom boom boom boom boom they're 10 and seven and win the division exactly so yep I I'm I'm leaning towards the Ravens going in there and cleaning some clocks but that we'll get to that in a minute the big news that broke that R did I see uh nope I didn't see Ralph I thought I seen Ral pop in there rxj I got you though Patrick ceran got paid highest paid cornerback in the leag and I'm quite sure Jaylen Ramsay is going that [ __ ] but anyways he get four years 96 million an average of 24 million per year think yeah he definitely deserves it he he's a hell rising star yeah he he's not quite like one of the absolute top two three guys yet but he's just outside of it and with his age you expect him to get there I mean right he's going into his fourth year yep well the guy's just stud he's only getting better and better and like Ken said he is just outside the top three maybe just outside the top two best corners the guy's only getting better year and year year and year and he's only 24 Cain has played every game in three seasons but one he's missed one game in three seasons he's a two-time pro bowler he's an all proo and he has seven career interceptions for during his rookie year so this kid's vastly getting better and better and um I remember just last year maybe all of us remember when the Broncos were thinking about shipping him and moving on from him because there was these rumors in Denver who's going to be moved on and who's going to be traded so it's it's good I think Denver did the right choice in locking him down for the longterm future go Patriots media stops back in uh is anybody getting like a little chirp in the background I'm trying to figure out where I am I hear a little I don't hear anything I don't hear anything either feedback and I I heard it just a little bit but I don't know where it's coming from I was checking everybody to see where it's coming from all right never mind anyways berill what do you think about it hey he he's gonna be well the question I I gotta ask is is he gonna be good as good as his father I think he's end up better than his father he's already better than his father at this point of his career yeah I I keeps popping in it oh there's a camera back show he's got full signal y started up and it stops every time Jordan pops out but anyways uh chicken nugget what are your thoughts on Patrick 1 24 mil a year sheesh damn oh man he's a baller he earned it you know and uh Denver couldn't let a good one go away so you got to keep him you know he's definitely you know a real talented player on the defensive side of the ball he's just one of the kind he's one of those you know guys that you don't want to let go you know if you let him go and and let him shine off somewhere then he's going to take off to the moon so it's good to keep him in Denver and let him you know remain there uh for four years and 24 Mill a year and you know it's good to see you know I like I like that I like that move I respect it all right Ean well first of all I'm gonna compare this situation to Aman ra he's like the Cornerstone of our offense right now Patrick Zan is the Cornerstone of the Broncos defense and outside side of him the defense isn't not too great so when you have a guy like that you want to keep him as you want to keep him around as long as you can I agree Mike I mean I think I think it was you know John Elway and John lynches they they passed on you know they made that comment earlier they passed on Josh Allen was a biggest mistake they ever made so they weren't trying to make two mistakes so they should have signed him to more you know he's a Cornerstone of that defense he's a lock down dback and you know he he should have got 26 27 million a year if it was up to me unfortunately your statement would have been great if John Elway still ran the team well uh the Walmart group that owns them told the DM go ahead and give them the money the thing is you know what I like about it and I'll get it I I'll give this take right after Jordan Jordan what's your take on it um it's a much needed move for the Broncos obviously I mean I was just looking at their depth chart I can only tell you three guys on their defense Ry Moss Pat C and uh John Franklin Meyers so yeah they definitely need Pat C he's like probably like top three quarter the league I say it's like him and sarder are the best two quarters inag and he's like 24 25 years old so he's just now hitting his prime so right so I'm gonna say it like this Walmart has a ton of money and they don't give two shits about the salary cap if they go over it by paying him I don't think they care they can afford the fines because that's the majority shareholder of that group that owns the Broncos so when did John when did John Elway and and John Lynch leave did I I miss that whole John Lynch is with the ners yeah John Lynch is and he's Limited in practice and Nate landman is limited because of a quad injury for the Ravens you got running back rashen Ali is doubtful to play Thursday and a daa Isaac their rookie is out he has a hand victory for the bills Mitchell trabis was limited so he's finally returning to practice but he's not even the backup there because of how the the whole preseason went he's the qb3 so they're one of the few teams with three gu three QBs on their roster that's crazy but uh Curtis Samuel is back to full practice Quinton Mor Morris tight end went back to full practice Javon sullon with an oblique is did not participate and probably won't play this week and Cole Bishop the rookie uh safety is back to full practice in other news deamar Hamlin will start week one against the Cardinals per head coach sea mcder this will be this will Mark Hamlin's first start since he suffered Cardiac Arrest during a game against the Bengals on January 2nd 2023 and I'm going to say this now that's the back um I think it's very little i i i i they've got a very solid o line they've got good coaching they've got a great defense at the and and their wide receivers are solid to Great across the board now I understand the reason why OSU quarterback in the NFL because most of OSU quarterbacks are in the NFL have beaten Michigan before Chris DD has never beaten Michigan so that's why he's good in the NFL makes you want to think hey look here you know why he's good in the NFL I I'll give you the exact reason he was fully developed when he got to OSU yeah his high school coach was a backup NFL quarterback he was fully developed coming out of high school Ryan Day couldn't ruin them I mean I like my theory better that's okay we can go by the realistic stuff guys know I am a big OSU fan oh IO so CJ Stout is the epitome of the best NFL quarterback that came out of there better than Justin Fields better than prior better than anybody else that's came out of there TJ Stout was the most NFL ready quarterback that ever played at Ohio State hands down and he is going to thrive these other ones yeah they they were mediocre they may have been [ __ ] but I think Justin Fields got a a poor Shake in the NFL you know an offense that switched coordinators what three times while he was there you know if you would have had a solid you know offens I think been all right but CJ Stout is a real deal he he really is and he's going to come down in history as one of the best NFL quarterbacks that ever played the game and Dominic Dar rubis backs me up Jeremy's right the next time OSU develops a quarterback it will be the first time all right so now that Howard's gonna come out this year as a top five quarterback you I mean oh hell no no so now that I know you're Ohio fan what are the odds of Ryan day getting fired after the season if if if Ryan D to the National Championship he will be gone next year and Chip Kelly will take over for him he'll really be gone if he doesn't win the Big 10
