how's it going everyone hamstring injuries are starting to become a problem once again for the Packers it feels like considering we've had a couple of hamstring injuries already this training camp and we had another player in Marshon Lloyd sustained one against the Cleveland Browns in the first pre-season game where he only was able to rush once and was taken out because he re-aggravated his hamstring injury now there were no reports that I saw read heard anything all I heard that he had a hip injury and that put him on the pup list and that's why he didn't attend training camp till a little bit later and then apparently after he pulled this he said that he re-aggravated this hamstring injury and he was actually pushing through a hamstring issue throughout training camp so it sounds like he kind of kept this from the medical staff because the Packers generally like to take the long approach especially with hamstring injuries they usually like to take them out don't have them play don't have them practice we've already seen that with Harrington Valentine and also Josh Jacobs but no reports about Marshon Lloyd having hamstring injury until he pulled this one so with that it gets a little bit interesting cuz I feel like with that it kind of leaves the door open for AJ Dylan considering he looked terrible and despite him coming in this training camp in the best shape of his life he still looks like the same AJ D but Marshon Lloyd what does that mean for him so with that his hamstring is it's a grade one he's probably out for uh the usual timet is about 10 to 14 days so that would put him up to about the third preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens and that's if he has a good recovery and if the Packers want to kind of push it and that would be on August 24th now the Packers and the rest of the NFL have until August 27th to make all of their final roster Cuts where they have to trim down the roster to a 53 man roster so with that it seems like we might not see Marshon Lloyd at all anymore in this offseason unless he has a pretty good recovery and he eventually plays against the Ravens but that's about the minimum time frame it seems like he would return and show and play with the team in any capacity now that's if it's a grade one now if it's a grade two considering he re-aggravated it and it made it worse then it would be considered a grade two and apparently the average time frame for that is about 4 to 8 weeks so a lot longer time frame we're not really going to probably see Marshon Lloyd practicing in any capacity he might be in like the team meetings and maybe some walkthroughs but none of the team drills and then if it's not any better come the 27th he's going to probably make the roster I don't see the Packers cutting him because he probably wouldn't make it to the practice squad especially since he was a third round rookie running back and pretty much considered or was thought of potentially a top three running back in this draft class so there's no way that the Packers are probably going to cut him wave them and hit him clear and make it to the practice squad so he's probably going to stay with the Packers on the active roster and be part of the 53 man roster now once the 53 man roster is there then depending on where he is with that injury I can see him going on injured reserve especially if it's a more like long-term injury kind of like how Christian Watson went on the IR a couple times because of a hamstring injury probably the same deal You' go on IR have to be out for four weeks and then he could probably return depending on where he's at but at the end of the day Marshon Lloyd will be out for at least probably a couple weeks with that hamstring injury we'll wait more for when testing is done and what Matt lefur says about the injury when they ask about him because there's no way they're not going to ask about it so we'll have to wait to see what he says on that but just coming out with a slight update and a kind of like a Time line of what we can probably expect with Marshon Lloyd especially since we're not going to cut him and he can't go on pup list since he's already technically played in one preseason game and kind of came off the list and participated in training game but let me know what you think down in the comments if you like the video hit the like button subscribe to the channel and as always go pack go
