teacher talking Sports what it do is what it do how we live and of course yesterday was NFL cut day where teams need to get their rosters down to 53 players but all of those guys that were cut were available for teams to sign some brought the players back and put them on their practice squad but there were some notable names and I'll admit as a Giants fan there's one guy there's one guy that I'm about to name who I wanted to see the giant sign I didn't expect them to uh but it would have improved the running back room and instead it's going to improve the running back room of the two-time defending Super Bowl champions Bleacher Reports Chief signed Sam perin to free agent contract after Broncos exit uh mentions how per NFL at networks Mike Galo and Ian raport s green is being signed to the chief's active roster so no practice squad there uh mentions how George Patton the uh Broncos general manager couldn't find the spot for him in a stack room they got javante Williams Julia mcglaughlin looked very good last year but it it was still somewhat surprising to see someone like him uh yes maybe he can't play special team teams as Patton mentions um then goes to mention how only Isaiah Pacho Clyde Edwards hir and undrafted rookie Carson steel those were the only running backs in the Chiefs running back room Steels looked great in pre-season but preseason sometimes you got to take it with a grain of salt and we know Clyde Edwards hair hasn't really panned out since being selected in the first round but let's take a look at Pine's stats so so he will turn 29 on September 16th so early on in the season uh but still productive actually had one of his best seasons last year uh career-high 50 catches 455 yards uh ran for 4 and half yards per pop uh so definitely was a you know important piece for a Denver Broncos offense that wasn't necessarily very good during this season and as you see he's averaged you know well over four yards a carry uh each of the last four seasons mostly with Cincinnati three with Cincinnati one with Denver but uh to me he's a huge upgrade for that rb2 position for the Kansas City Chiefs and like I said the rich just get richer with a move like this what are your thoughts do you see as much upside with the move as I did we remember remember how important Jerick McKinnon was what two years ago for the Chiefs and you know maybe I'm not saying Pine will have however many touchdowns um McKinnon had that year 9 10 11 I don't even remember he had a lot uh but you know he could play that important role um in the back field and as a safety blanket for Patrick momes um what are your thoughts uh I just really think it's a strong move by the Chiefs um and you know a guy I was hoping the Giants would get wasn't expecting them to uh we'll see H anyhow don't forget to subscribe tell a friend tell friend tell friend subscribe like the video share the video hit the bell for notifications I'm out
