The city of Hurst is asking residents to refrain from any outdoor water use. Yeah, this is after a huge mess all caught on camera crews still working to clean up damage in a Fort Worth neighborhood right there on the Hearst border. After a massive water main break. Natalie ADAD joins us live there this morning and Natalie, some residents have been left with nothing. They've been left with nothing and they've been left with months of damages that they're going to have to repair insurance that they're going to have to get a hold of. And this big accident, it comes with consequences. Look behind me where we see workers working on the pipes that you can't see it on camera, but there is a huge hole just right where those workers are standing there looking down into it just trying to get things done. Like we mentioned, it's being called an accident. This is after crews working on phone or internet lines drilled into the ground into a major and vital water line. Take a look at this video given a W FAA water gushing into the air loudly, crashing into homes, destroying rooftops shredding trees and flooding the streets of the Trinity V, the trail neighborhood in this area. Now, a Fort Worth Water Department spokesperson told the FAA, a telecommunications crew mistakenly drilled into a 33 inch water main which runs to DFW airport. They now the spokesperson would not say which company employs the crew that broke the water main but did raise questions about their permit. The spokesperson did say that they were not supposed to be digging there. Now, people like Susy Clark in this neighborhood have months of repairs ahead of them. It, it's like a tornado hit this house. I'm looking at what months in repairs months and no place to live. I'm staying off camera so we can still get a look at all of the crews and all the traffic troubles that you're certainly going to come across when you're driving down this road. Now, meanwhile, as K and Mark, you mentioned in the beginning, people in the area are being asked not to use any watering or irrigation systems today. Now, the city does say that repairs will be done within 24 hours. So hopefully later today guys. All right. Thanks Natalie for those images and for the update this morning.
