you say his name three times he will appear be Juice congratulations on the movie guys it's so much fun I really wasn't exped to have so much fun with it and the first thing I want to know for you Justin which is the difference of trining in the world of Tim Burton the difference between everything you have done in this movie in particular um you know this Tim is such a singular director you know he's a real true Maestro and um so it was really thrilling just to go into knowing what I was going to be I sort of knew it was going to be a um a thrilling experience um but anytime you get to work close I mean with uh closely with really good talented artists um I just feel so fortunate you know and I've been lucky and that I've been able to work with multiple talented uh actors and directors and set designers but this is one of those films where every single component every single Department um is just hum in the exact same tune and the and it's a great one you know so I just enjoyed that and Jenna you know what I love about Tim Burton is the way that he can present so intense and deep themes in a way that feel light and relatable and your character is dealing with grief and is dealing with the loss of her father and how how would you compare uh these so heavy themes and in such a hum humorous way well I think I think for my character it was really nice because um in comparison to the first one I feel like this one definitely has a little bit more emotional um stories and and and themes so um my character ASD is kind of um she she is that connecting piece for the story so with um her being new to Beetlejuice and never having any any experience with him before um it was really really wonderful because I got to focus on what she was dealing with internally and then everything that happened uh you know with the crazy sets and you know shooting with Michael and the green wig and you know Winona being um in asid's opinion like a a crazy ghost woman you know I was able to kind of react to everything as as someone naturally would um and because everything is so heightened it just kind of fell into place anyway and yesterday Tim said on the press conference that he see this as a the story of a weird family and you are kind of family in the movie and but but you have a really particular Bond because you kind of don't like him and he he's trying to to get into the he he really wants to be part of of the this family so how did you work on on that special bond because it's one of the the funniest things on the movie it's like hilarious because I mean I always thought about it's like my mom was a single mom and she would periodically bring back boyfriends that's sort of what that scene was about you know the one scene where and I always kind of wanted to just you know they always be like hey can I help you fix your bicycle or like give me a hug and he'd be like get the out of my house um and so that was one scene that we worked on together where uh and where we thought what's the worst and it's just like for him to be trying to like identify with her pain and like I just thought was hilarious well that but I mean obviously you're hilarious and you're it's so strange that you're so good at being so unbearable but but also the wig and the costume him dressing similarly to my mother was very strange and I think that was a real yeah we always saw like before he like met Lydia he was probably wearing like yoga pants and you know they met like hippies and yeah exactly no that back the ponytail made me laugh so it's brutal M do hate him yeah thank you guys so much once again congratulations on the movie and I hope it really goes great was really nice looking to you hope to see you again be [Music]
